Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Had breakfast here twice during our stay in Ballyliffin, both times service and food was consistently great. Pancakes well worth it, fry good and chowder for breakfast works aswell. Staff were brilliant. Great place for food and well decked out. Definitely the nicest food we...had the whole tripMore

Lovely restaurant on way into Ballyliffen from malin head . Got a table but we were told kitchen was backed up a little so we could have a drink and then they take the food order . It did take about 40 mins for food...to arrive but as we were told This was fine … and it was worth waiting for .. both had the prawn and crab which was so tasty and beautifully presented .More

Group was told alot about here so we had to stop by. It is a really nice place and the staff are super friendly. Parking can be difficult but worst case scenario it's only a few minutes walk from the lay-by down the road. The...chowder with wheaten bread was delicious and all were happy with that and it's what the place is know for. The calamari they said was average but everything was very well presented. I had the soup and sandwich combo toastie which was what you would expect, nice. Overall happy we called in, if it was out of a 10star rating it would definitely get a 9. Well doneMore

Very disorganised. People getting wrong food. Slow to take order. Staff walking around ignoring customers. Hygiene needs some attention. Hand washing and drying facilities directly over food.

Husband likes his chowder and was very impressed with his chowder from Nancy’s Barn. I had soup and homemade bread. Very tasty, would definitely eat here again. Staff were lovely and attentive but not too attentive.

We have been to Nancy's Barn about ten times and always try to get there whenever up in that part of Inishowen. I ordered the Chowder the first time we went, and even though there is an amazing looking menu, I still haven't ever been...able to try anything else, as the Chowder is just too good! Its rich, smoky, and has beautifully cooked seafood (Its so good I don't ever order Chowder anywhere else now as it is never the same standard, and I have tried many, from Bantry to Belfast!). Its not the only reason to visit though, the staff are always fantastic too, as is the coffee and the desserts!More

Lady in tourist office in Buncrana recommended Nancy's Barn & it did not disappoint. Back again yesterday for another bowl of their delicious chowder & lunch. The food here does not disappoint, great menu full of dishes packed with flavour & all Irish produced food,...from light lunches to evening meals. Staff are helpful & friendly - even being bowls of water for our dogs & making a fuss of them. Have recommended Nancy's Barn to friends all around Ireland, England & America & can't wait to take them to Nancy's when they visit. It has definitely become a "must go" on my list of restaurants. And you must have the chowder - a taste bud explosion...nom nom nomMore

Heard about here. Read about here. Decided to give it a go while we were up that direction and it didn’t disappoint. Cute little place and the food was delightful. Toastie with chips and the ‘Worlds Best Chowder’ were ordered along with some wild garlic...and chilli fries! Yum yum yum.More

Not inside the restaurant but they do have outside seating, in a small marquee & outside. They were happy for my dogs to be in the marquee, staff made a fuss over them & brought the bowls of water.
