Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

My husband and I were visiting the west Cork and we decide have a lunch in the Budds. It was a adorable choice, my husband had a delicious burger and I had a very good hake and baked fish.

Had breakfast this morning in Budds, and it was just as good as I remembered from my visit last year. Delicious local produce imaginatively used. Such lovely friendly staff. A little gem, worth a detour.

We ate lunch in budds yesterday and it was a very enjoyable experience. The food was delicious but the friendliness of the staff is what really stands out. We were only on a day trip but the experience felt like being on holidays. Thanks very...much for brightening our day.More

Budds is a busy spot on the main street so you can't miss it! No indoor dining at time so opted for takeaway instead of outdoor dining. Outdoor seating available. The queue was a good sign of how good the food is! I opted for...the crispy tofu, it was delicious, the flavours were fantastic.More

Hidden gem! Best burger we have ever had. Everything from the patty to brioche made from scratch. We had deserts to takeaway and they too were scrumptious.

Every aspect of our meal at this restaurant was perfect. Location, ambience, service, food and wine! Service was efficient, friendly and prompt. Lovely decor and despite Covid table-distancing there was a buzz in the room. The food was seriously amazing! Delicious free aperitifs of mini...soups in a shot glass and potato/basil mini tartlets (I think) Some of us even used our fingers to get the last scrapings from the shot glass! Main courses were completely scrumptious, a feast for all the taste buds! Two of us got steak and I had aubergine wraps, yummy! We drank a delicious Grenache wine and craft beer. Dessert was fabulous, I had brownie & ice cream. Meant to take more photos. I highly recommend! Two courses €30, three €40. Go treat yourselves!More
