We came for family gathering. Old deco, older service staffs & old school food lead us a time travel. Food isn’t bad, but a big room for more delicate. Best dish is the abalone soup with egg white on the bottom. 我們是家庭聚餐在這裡吃飯,老派裝潢、稍老服務人員、老派的菜式讓我們有個時光之旅,食物不差,但是細緻度仍有空間,記憶度最高的是金湯蛋白鲍

We ordered 7 or 8 dishes and at best, 1 or two were good but those were way over priced for what they were.

Ambience is ok. Service is good. Food is below average. Pork ribs were served like warm (cooked before hand and warm up when we ordered). Fish was cooked not to the way we ordered. Can skip.

We had dinner here with colleagues and enjoyed a variety of cantonese and non-cantonese dishes. All excellent as the services was. Especially the Peking style duck was superb!

The restaurant name is 八三元. I went with Taiwanese friends, who did the ordering. I am not sure if they have a menu in English, It is worth the effort, nonetheless. Everything was perfectly cooked, delicately flavoured and impeccably served. I particularly liked the rich...and precious shrimp 富貴明蝦球 and the green beans with wrappers.More

Ate at this restaurant as part of group tour package otherwise I will be seriously upset had I paid for it... The quality of food served and service rendered puts the credibility of Michelin guide at risk - it definitely does not warrant the 1...Star; not even bib gourmand.More

Our family like the food there, especially Cantonese food taste. The duck, fried shrimp, fish head soup.. Taste good. It's a restaurant with history, you can see its decoration is old Chinese style. Only one thing, the server should serve more efficiently, maybe we were...during a peak time and they were all busy in the period.More

This place is very clean, table are well spaced out and services are very good. Food is very good and prices are reasonable. Highly recommended ! Thank you Ms. Wu for making our dinner experience a great one. We will be back again and again.

Went there for dinner, and ordered several popular dishes. The quality of the food is the worst we ever had. Half went to garbage. Claim to be Cantonese style food but not ever close. Not only food is poor, the service is nothing to write...home about. Extremely disappointing.More

I read good reviews about the place so my friend and I decided to go have dinner there. English was a bit tough but the owner Sherry Chiou quickly helped us out . The food was reasonably priced and although we were willing to scarf...down a Peking duck you have to order that in advance. The place isn’t anything fancy but your typical Chinese restaurant. What made it special aside from the food was how the owner personally took care of us. I also noticed her greeting her guests one by one. Somehow it feels like your feasting in someone’s home.More
