Flying through from Jersey we found this fabulous landing spot. Everything was first class from beginning to end. Service was impeccable, staff super entertaining and welcoming. Just a beautiful afternoon tea. We had a lovely afternoon and would happily visit again. I'm still full from the amazing scones. There's also a fabulous shop attached which sells local gin and other... More

I've visited Ye Olde Steppes twice and will always have fond memories of it. It's location is in a tiny but very quaint and beautiful village, a lovely place to visit. The staff are really lovely and their cream is tea top notch. The scones are served warm (the best way to serve scones in my opinion) and comes with jam,... More

We live locally to Pembridge and we have become real fans of this delightful shop. The welcome is always warm and attentive, the coffee first class and the cakes to die for. We brought family here on Saturday and the chef had just baked croissants which looked great - unfortunately it was after we had eaten our lemon drizzle cake... More

This award winning village shop and tea room was our destination for a cosy lunch last week. Just as well we booked a table as the place was buzzing when we arrived. We had a lovely table for two overlooking the church lawn. The staff are very friendly and the menu very well thought out. Not a vast choice, but... More

So lovely to have another trip out to Ye Olde Steppes again. The cosy atmosphere & warm welcome from the staff makes you feel so at home and then there's the amazing array of homemade cakes galore, scones, quiches or warming hearty soups. Sam the owner is of course the jewel in this spectacular crown. Be back soon!

Lovely tea room with the friendliest welcome by the 2 ladies who work there. The cakes were to die for and the tea was real tea, not a teabag in site and served in lovely china cups with a silver tea strainer. Not only that, they made dogs so welcome with a bowl of water and serveral doggie biscuits. If... More

If you're looking for a delicious snack then look no further. Sam, the new owner, has worked in Ye Olde Steppes for some time, and recently bought the business. Judging by the quality of the food, the lovely surroundings and the incredibly friendly welcome by all of the staff I think she will do very well. Fantastic home made cakes... More

My wife and I and my sister decided to have lunch here and what a good idea. We were warmly welcomed in such a friendly way by both ladies, shown to a table but then offered a better one. My wife and I had sandwiches, cracking Shropshire Brown bread, with salad and my sister had prawn salad. Massive portions and... More
