I was last at this place back in 1998 when they were the local General Store. They've update and renovated since then. They have a wide assorted of local and imported produce, jams, jellies, smoked dish, etc. And fudge. And a nice little cafeteria at...the back. I bought an excellent soup - Curry Carrot and Apple - and some local jam. They have picnic tables outside to sit at and the views of the surrounding area are pleasant. Warm soup on a windy day in the hills. Well worth it.More

A large store with full kitchen and several tables to enjoy , in our case an incredible bacon and lentil soup and one of the richest (and great value) smoked meat sandwich on multigrain. Extremely friendly service.

Nothing to recommend it from the outside except for the cars of locals arriving for lunch. Quite a lineup on a Thursday and we were the only “tourists”. The young fellow in front of me explained the process; order, wait at the side until your...order is ready. If you’re taking out, go to the counter and pay. If eating in, enjoy your food then pay. He said it’s a great place with honest owners who buy local. They serve sandwiches (toasted or plain) with numerous toppings but we opted for generous bowls of soup/chili. We also had a bottle of Diet Coke from the fridge, a date square (delicious) and a disappointing butter tart. Excellent pastry but very little filling which was on the dry side. $22.50.More

The building itself is a non-descript white frame building on the southwest corner of the crossroads in the tiny hamlet of Ravena, Ontario in the Blue Mountain area of Georgian Bay. A friend suggested we stop there for lunch. We finally did so in May...of this year and it was amazing. The sandwiches are excellent but we do go back for the pies. The apple pie is our favourite. We now order 2 to pick up on our way home. The pastry is excellent, the apple filling is plentiful and tasty - what more could you ask for? We have had the blueberry pie as well but, good as it was (full of blueberries) we prefer the apple pie. You will know you are in the right spot at meal time because of the parked vehicles clustered around the building and along the road.More

Stopped here for breakfast before hiking on Bruce Trail. Lovely patio. Yummy breakfast sandwiches. While we didn’t sample the baking, it looked wonderful.

If you're out enjoying the escarpment in beautiful Grey County this is the perfect place to stop for a bite of lunch. Nicely up-scaled country store feel with delicious food. My wife loved the veggie sandwich and my montreal smoked meat was delicious and filling....Just a little pricey.More

This place is FANTASTIC! The sandwiches are delicious - great selection and they will panini press them for you.The soup is so good, I always have to get a bowl and sammie when I visit! The BEST part is the baked goods!! I always have...to pick up multiple pies for family members and their cookies are AMAZING! I know a large number of people who have tried these pies and everyone agrees they are the BEST!! I was also told their frozen local beef hamburger patties are really good too. This is a must visit location!!!More

When we head out, we like to stop by for a breakfast sandwich and coffee. They make to order and are always pleasant. The deserts are too die for. -Did someone say "butter tarts" :)

It's a small store but some neat stuff (cooL socks) and baking. They had prepared foods as well and I think some gluten free products too.
