Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Came here on the way back from the beach, didn't book and they fitted us in upstairs outside. Try and book if you can to get a seat outside. Lovely staff made us feel very welcome. House wine was fine, pizza was great with a big house salad.

Just loved this place. The pizza was amazing, real flavored. The wine was not that good (we asked a bio one, can't remember the name). The village is really small and worth a walk by! Too cute!!

Literally in the middle of nowhere, at the quiet Pedralva Village, Pizza Pazza is a reference for both local and tourists. With a totally laid back, relaxed, non-pretentious atitude, they serve great pizzas with great ambiance

It's a nice pizzaria, although it does not have many options apart from pizza's and salads. It a very small place in a very cute small village. It is worth the trying due to it's good value for money ratio, and to see the passion of the German owner. The pizza is very good and the so is the ambience.

We reserve a table for dinner (you should always book a table or you risk a long time of waiting). We arrived in time at Pedralva but we still had to wait a little for the table. We start with a cheese foccacia. Good but not as crispy as we like. We follow up with the pizzas that were good. My ham and rucola pizza had enough ingredients but my girlfriend's pizza not so much. We asked for dessert, a tiramissu that was banal. The service was quite slow. We don't understand why as there weren't so many people attend. The environment as I said in my last review too is no longer the same: the restaurant is no longer the welcoming place where we can be rested after a day on the beach. For these reasons, I start to think if the trip to Pedralva isn't worth, giving that is still long journey to the town and no longer is that great experience that it once as.

Set in a pitoresque little village, in the middle of the countryside, Pizza Pazza offers great, Italian like pizzas, in a nice, relaxed environment . The salads are great too!

We know this place for several years but yesterday sadly was just enough. Inexperienced staff and huge waiting times are there to stay. To close the evening the bill was wrong and it took the owner some time to recognize it. We were a big group on vacation and situations like this are not acceptable. Like many other customers and reviewers this was our last time. If you don't need customers you are on the right track

Delicious pizza (and we get some great authentic pizzas in Melbourne, Australia!). Great service, amazing views. Reasonably priced. And the caprese salad with home grown tomatoes when eaten on top of the pizza ... To die for! Mmmmmm!

Cheap low qualify ingredients make bad food. Even the free olives were crap. The high score must be result of regional visitors never tasted a real pizza. Service was snackbar level. Actually the decoration and personal appearance of staff could predict the quality level. Low. Our children and us ate only half of the small pizza and did not had the guts to try the coffee.

i was in a surf trip near to Amado Beach, and my friend took me to this enchanted small village with house that are now part of the hotel, we didn't stay we just go because there is an italian restaurant, and i was really close and cheap, well it wasnt only cheap it was amazing, we asked for wine, white wine made in the house, chill and fresh, the pizza came really fast and tasted amazing, like organic and they had this oil with spices on it, and and the vibe of the place with an incredible sunset i felt like i was on toscany really... really... i felt in love with this place.

Ok.. We re big fans of Pizza Pazza and have been for many years.. But this year we went full of fear and apprehension following reviews here... Were we doing the right thing? Especially as we had Pizza Pazza 'virgins' with us! We called and made a reservation ( only that afternoon) we requested the terrace at 7.. We got the terrace at 7. In fact we got everything we requested - fab welcome, attentive super service throughout and as ever THE best pizza and salad you could wish for! Please don't be put off.. Yes it is busy.. But it is August .. But just do it right-make a reservation and respect that to get the freshest best ever pizza around you may have to wait a little whilst it is being prepared ( the wine is good!) -that said we didn't have to wait long at all! So don't be put off.. It is still just magic! We will be back for sure.. But next time a little less anxious!

I started to go to this place long time ago, very long time ago... When everything started for this restaurant. I took many other people to this place because I liked the atmosphere, the pizzas, and there was a mystic energy about Pizza Pazza. Now I feel let down cos I would like to keep going to have dinner there after a day surfing, but I can't... I can't because I refuse to comeback to a place where they have lost the respect for they customers. Maybe somewhere along the success they forgot they depend on the people that keep coming back and they took it for granted. Then they started to treat me as they were doing me a favor... I forgave them twice for this attitude but the third was the last. I even went to talk to the owner hoping that he would understand my point and make it up saying "yes, we are a bit stressed with all this work and we should have had more consideration..." maybe a "sorry" but instead he didn't care at all, he refused to even hear what i was saying. Me and other 6 people left and will not comeback. I'm sorry that this happend and because it wasn't only one bad experience, i realise they have changed and lost their friendly aproach towards their cutomers...

As a resident in the SW Algarve, I have visited Pizza Pazza a couple of times in the past and really enjoyed the pizza and settings - Padralva is a charming little village. However, having not been for a few years, I wasn't prepared for how overwhelmingly busy it was and we hadn't reserved a table. When I enquired whether there might be a table free, two staff members told me to speak to the woman downstairs behind the counter (the boss?) and when I enquired if there might be any space she told me in a very rude manner that there was no chance and when I tried to ask her something else, she turned her back on me and just walked away. Obviously they have got so successful they don't find it necessary to be polite to their customers/potential customers. Needless to say, I will not be returning. We ended up in nearby Carrapateira and had an amazing pizza at Trigo Vermelho!
