Visited with my family and made to feel very welcome. Food excellent, very talented chef. Owners very friendly and warm. Venue has just been refurbished and looks amazing. All the best for 2017. Highly recommended.

We was recommended to this place by 2 people. On arrival Sunday we found that the decoration was excellent, room pleasant, light and airy. pity the food wasn't in the same category. The complaints are as follows, starter menu lacked soup, prawn cocktail. we had the pate which was spoilt by lack of bread and minute amount of butter and... More

Stopped here whilst tracing my family tree. Popped into the pub for lunch. Huge portions of locally produced meat and veg. Yorkshire pudding was a highlight. Service was really excellent such a friendly welcome and great table service. Nothing was too much trouble. Will definitely return here and would highly recommend it to anyone.

Went for my Dad's birthday, my mum rang up and enquired about disabled access, we were told they had a ramp at the side of the building. When we arrived the ramp had about a 2 inch lip from the floor. That made its hard to get up and down. Once at the top...There's a step into the building. Not... More

This was the first time we had visited here since it was taken over. What a surprise, fabulous refurbishments in both bar and restaurant, lovely smiley waitress who has taken ownership on with her partner. The food was superbly cooked and well presented. Everyone eating in the restaurant were saying how good their meals were. Definitely a place to visit... More

We had no booking on Sunday but were very warmly received on arrival. The service was extremely friendly and professional and the food excellent - and plenty of it! It's the first time we have been and it most certainly won't be the last, especially as the prices are very reasonable.
