Nice sunny day to sit outside and enjoy the fall colors. We shared the outside seating with a group of well-behaved young people who enjoyed the food, hide and seek, and climbing the trees. Both of us had the Plat du Jour salad option, the Salads du Canard. Lovely greens, tomato, cheese and slices of duck breast. Very light dressing.... More

Had lunch on the terrace under huge plane trees. Excellent food, great wine, good service, and good value (especially the wine)!

The restaurant is situated in the centre of the village. The weather was beautiful so we were able to sit outside in the square at lunchtime- great ambience. We chose dishes from the a la carte menu - a good selection of salads, meat and fish dishes. The food was excellent, mine was particularly delicious - fish with a pesto... More

To tell the truth I won't go back to this restaurant, but then I'm not a tourist, and they obviously enjoy it as it usually seems to do a good trade. The food is strictly tourist fare, but it is in Gigondas so it shouldn't be much of a problem to get a good bottle of wine and the location... More

Had a lovely, authentic lunch in this picturesque little spot. The set menu was small but it was all delicious ( best olives we had in france). All enjoyed with a lovely bottle of gigondas rose. Very attentive sevice while enjoying the breathtaking scenery. Would certainly return

This place was great for lunch. We were looking for light salads, some rose wine, and a place to linger for awhile- this cafe was perfect for all of those things. Be sure to arrive early, since the outdoor seating was completely filled for lunch.

We arrived in a deserted Gigondas to try Fontsane wines at the Caveau, being directed there by a notice on the door of the deserted "open" winery. No other tourists were about, and after buying our wine, we were directed opposite to this little restaurant by the sommelier at the Caveau. Thanks to tripadvisor members' forums, I had known to... Opposite the posh L'Oustalet in the charming Place, we had a good light lunch - bread and cheese and a tasty tartine, both with a lovely green salad.

We stopped for lunch at Du Verre l'Assiette and thought it was really good. We sat out on the terrace under the trees on a beautiful day.. Service was fine, but the place was busy so we stayed longer than we'd planned. That said, we split a cheese plate and a charcuterie plate with 25 cl of rose wine... A... More

Lovely restaurant in the centre of town. Food was excellent , but the wine a little expensive at 11€ for a half a litre (normally half the price in other local towns) Great setting, service a tad slow but we did turn up at the height of a busy lunchtime service. Defiantly wort a visit
