Total disappointment. The food was as good as the dirty and smelly WC in the building. The order was messed up and we were served dishes we did not order.

Fun and delicious

Recommend! Good service, very big portions (main courses) and very delicious! If you love to eat meat - it´s the place to go!

Delicious wandering

We’re travelling to Narva when we wanted to do a quick stop for a bite to eat when we came across this place. Its a 30sec drive from the highway. We took some starters - chicken salad and the soup and both were delicious! As...the green tea with ginger. Price range is decent, host has good humor and the overall experience was great!More

Fantastic Atmosphere & Food

Take the time to find this wonderful place, they source food from the local area. I wanted the lamb but was sourced on Thursday available Friday so I was a day early, sigh had to settle for the organic steak, lol. My steak was delicious...and tender, but my meal started with duck salad, highly recommended and ended with home made vanilla ice cream nestled in puff pasty and fresh baked apples. Beside the food the atmosphere of this beautifully restored building is worth the trip. The current proprietor took the time to give us a quick tour and history lesson, most enjoyable eveningMore

Fantastic food!

Great historic place, really loved the atmosphere and the host and hostess. And the food - it was so delicious, everyone was so full but we had to have desert also (pancakes are very good!). It was rated one of the best restaurants in Estonia...2016 for a reason.More

Medieval meal from local products

Restaurant is located in medieval castle-house, built in 1533, renovated in 1990, and 1991 was nominated the best renovated building in Estonia. You can take the tour in the one-family castle and dine in it. Food is made from local fresh products, and the restaurant...was voted as top 50 restaurants in Estonia on 2015. Food is very good and service excellent. Food is served in medieaval style pottery dishes.More
