The menu here is quite extensive and moderately priced, the staff are attentive and accommodating and the food is delicious I had grilled chicken skewer so yum and another in our group had the seafood platter, absolutely beautiful food and have no hesitation in recommending.

Staff 1/10 - Staff threw all entrees at one end of our 10 group table. They didn't know who ordered which main meal, and 4 staff came all at once shouting the name of dishes waiting for someone to respond like we could understand them....More

We came here for a family dinner and celebration and though the food was mostly quite good a few little things did sour the deal somewhat. The prices are high but the food is plentiful and some of the pasta mains are delicious. That said...More

The pastas and pizzas are nothing special at all, considering the $25 or so price tag. The service was terrible. It took over an hour for our food to come out. We wanted a water refill after we ate but no waitstaff passed us during...More

Went for lunch on Saturday with three of my friends, one being vegan, and despite being told by the restaurant prior that they had vegan options, the best they could do on the day was a trio of dips. I ordered the Fettuccini Gamberi. However...More

One of the disappointing visits for me in Parramatta is Sicilian. Whenever you roam around on church street, you think that looks a great place let's try it someday and when you try, it does not stand out. The ambience of this place is great...you...More

The enormous space should have been a warning, not to mention an average score of 3.5 on Tripadvisor, but my companion wanted to try this place for dinner. We decided to share everything - first up the arancini , followed by ravioli and then calzone....More

Initially entering the restaurant the atmosphere needs a bit of a revamp as it does look quite outdated. Many varied options, great food all the way from entree through to dessert, however service is way below any other restaurant on Church Street especially on a...More

Welcome to Sicilian Restaurant, a true icon of Parramatta and one of the largest and most impressive restaurants in the area. There is seating capacity for 350 diners yet it can still capture the intimacy of a romantic dinner for two. Located right in the heart of Parramatta, the restaurant is open 7 days for lunch and dinner. The Sicilian continues to maintain its reputation for high standards in service, food, premium wine, cocktails and superior coffee. Since Opening the Sicilian has become increasingly popular for its authentic woodfire pizza's and large portion sizes . Its large, open style and warm atmosphere attracts lovers of the flavours and dishes that make up the Italian cuisine. The Sicilian Restaurant brings all the warmth and earthy provincial charm of Sicily and Italian Dining to Parramatta. Sicilian food, in essence is excruciatingly simple. The freshness of the ingredients is what's most important in Sicilian's cooking. High quality ingredients speak ten-times louder than fancy cooking. Due to Sicily's location, in the middle of the Mediterranean, Sicily was a magnet for seafaring people since the dawn of time and has been invaded and ruled by the Greeks, Romans, Arabs, Normans, Spaniards and others, all of whom have left their mark, both in the island soul and in the cuisine. As a result Sicilian's cuisine is one of the most interesting of all the Italian Regions, with each new invasion another layer was added to an increasingly rich cuisine. 10 years in Church Street - Sicilian is celebrating its unique identity... with our family.
