Beautiful walk down to the restaurant on a winding path, and then there is the view from the table once you've arrived! Make reservations ahead of time, and order the Bouillabaisse.

We took a drive for a New Year's Day lunch seaside. We were not disappointed with l'Auberge du Merou. It is a bit of a walk from the car park, but the path leads right to the door of the Auberge. One can't jump out of the car in front of the place like McDo, but the 10 minute walk... More

The restaurant was suggested to us by the house keeper of the b&b we were staying at. First of all, there is absolutely no parking spot available. The restaurant is hard to reach, and we had to park our car pretty far away from the place. When we arrived, the staff greeted us in a very unprofessional and arrogant way.... More

Food is not bad, but grossly over-priced, even when one considers the value of the excellent view. If ordering a special from the ardoise, be sure to ask the price to avoid a sense of violation when the bill arrives.

One of the best meal I have ever had. This is a seafood restaurant therefore go for seafood and not meat, and go for the Bouillabaisse! Be aware you have to order it 24hr before (€50/pers). A friend of mine took us to this restaurant. You need to have time and take the entire afternoon to appreciate everything. I have... More

We were looking forward to eating here as friends had recommended it - however the food was disappointing. Two of our group had steaks but they were tough and fatty. One guest had the Coquilles saint Jacques which was the only dish that went down well. The other two had soup de poisson which was mediocre and definitely not the... More

This is a marvellous restaurant with very attentive staff and a superb view out over the Med. Apart from the impossibility of parking, the restaurant is perfect for a good meal whilst visiting la Cote Bleue. Fish is the obvious excellent choice.

from the trip down the horribly narrow road, to the setting, to the ambience and the food, this was an incredibly wonderful experience . we were a party of 5 and we all had the bouillabase, which was wonderful, if overwhelming in quantity. The service was very good, friendly and warm. We couldn't stop taking pictures of the views, the... More

Their bouillabaisse is good (though not the best I've had) but a complete overkill in the formula they use: as a starter a generous fish soup with rouille was served followed by more fish in soup? ?!!! It was far too much of the same so it completely lost its refinement.and had us saturated of the same.

I have been twice for dinner (best to book especially if eating at the weekend) and on both occassions the food was spectacular; very well presented, with excellent taste and freshness. I was there last night and had the bouillabaisse, which was excellent. The staff are all very friendly and helpful, particularly the guy who removes the bones from the... More
