I was expecting big things after having read the reviews and I was not disappointed. Beautiful location, interesting 'arty' decor, friendly and helpful and knowledgable service, and of course great food. I had foie gras, followed by veal, followed by a stunning chocolate and raspberry concoction. I will be going back to have desert again! For the quality of the... More

It's not the first time we have eaten here and we have never been disappointed. The menu is imaginative and the food is beautifully cooked and presented with nothing overlooked. The surroundings are comfortable and atmospheric with a log fire burning today, if you are ever in the vicinity and enjoy good food you must eat here

Went with our adult children to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. We enjoyed delicious food in a friendly, homely atmosphere.

Atmospheric and welcoming setting, friendly and knowledgable staff and above all amazing food! A family run restaurant with attention to detail and interesting flavour combinations, we highly recommend it.

This restaurant's reputation is well deserved, based on the experience during our first visit. Attention to detail is the obvious trade mark here, whether it is food or decor, the result is spot on. The stone and beam space generates a very pleasant atmosphere, with well separated tables around the medieval fireplace. The food is exquisite with a wonderful balance... More

Had the set lunch for four people at 20 euros per head which includes a glass of wine. There was a non alcoholic cocktail for the driver in our party the rest of us had chestnut liqueurs as aperitifs. Service was attentive but relaxed giving us plenty of time to appreciate the lovely, comfortable interior of the restaurant which is... More

Several visits now and in my opinion these two lovely ladies improve this great restaurant every time. Food quality and presentation is perfect and the setting and the hosts every bit as good. See you again soon!

Attended with friends for a birthday celebration. I was the only vegetarian in the party but my meal was the best vegetarian meal I have ever had in any restaurant. The service was excellent, friendly and efficient without feeling rushed. The restaurant is small enough to feel very personal but large enough to have a lovely ambiance. We visited on... More
