We visited last night, a table of 5. A first time visit for us all. First impressions were very good, modern minimalist diningroom,light filled, comfy seats. Check out the menu online, we can recommend starters - fish soup, the octopus carpaccio, the padron peppers, mains...- cod, Iberian pork and the very delicious rack of lamb. Desserts- chocolate mousse with crisp chocolate biscuit. We had the house white and red, both very drinkable. The service throughout was first class. The 5 of us left the restaurant feeling very happy with the quality of our night out, a find for foodies - we are definitely new fans of this restaurant.More

Yet another beautiful evening. Exemplary service, always an interesting menu. Great Covid plans in place and we both felt comfortable. Food is well presented and elegant but without being over the top. I highly recommend giving it a go, you won't be disappointed

Beautiful food, wonderful staff. This place is pristine. I had mackerel to start with an oyster. First time trying & it was delicious. Lamb for main with pumpkin spices & bulgar, cooked to perfection. Delicious desert of chocolate & coffee ice cream. You must come...here if you love wonderful food.More

We decided to give Gaspacho and Migas a try, with the intention of finding a restaurant which served a different style of food to the usual on the Algarve. We were not disappointed! Both the service and food were excellent. Between us we had the...Octopus and Cuttlefish main and also the Lamb. Both dishes were first class and we cleared both plates easily. We shared the Chocolate and coffee dessert, which again was fabulous, mixing both flavours and textures well. We would recommend the mixed starter to share., which again wass delicious! The total cost of the meal was €83, for which we had a shared starter (for 2 people), 2 mains, 1 dessert and a good bottle of wine. If you like your food and something different, you should give Gaspacho and Migas a try. We are sure you won't be disappointed.More

Great food and ambiance. Had this at a tip from someone who lives here a couple of years. As this is in the citycenter of where we stay, we’d give it a go. The atmosphere is really nice. The menu is amazing, the taste of...the different dishes Even more. There is one waiter who speaks perfectly English and is very welcoming and open about any question you might have. They have ca 5 different sort of bread - fresly baked - at the “couvert”. Tip: try the one with figs. It is amazing! We had the tapas for 2 to start.. so good! And main dishes we had 2 times fish. Different ones but we were both very happy. And we shared a desert with almonds. Amazing! Would defenitly go there again. They also have - every day - different lunch specials I heard. Can’t wait to try them.More

This is a new restaurant and the menu looked inviting. Nice outdoor terrace but inside dining also available. Covid measures followed. Nice menu with daily specials and delicious as well. Staff were kind and full of good energy. We had the special pork neck and...it was fork tender in every bite. Desserts are also yummy. Prices are moderate. Definitely a go to.More

Like others read about it in the Inside magazine. It’s next to a charity shop where we went looking for golf clubs. Noticed everyone trying the lunch specials so we tried the duck rice and codfish rice. Both great. Lovely service. Good atmosphere. Will return...in evening. Recommended as modern tasty local food.More

Towards the end our holiday I happened to see this restaurant advertised in an online magazine whilst staying in Carvoeiro and decided to see what it was like before we went home . . . it was excellent so we ate here twice. And truth...be told I’d have been happy to eat here each night until we went home in order to try as many dishes as possible. Picture perfect presentation with taste to match but not pretentious, everything on the plate was edible. We chose a wine that out of three bottles two were corked but it was handled with such charming politeness by the proprietor that it didn’t impact at all - the bottle we did have was a reserve, sensibly priced and delicious. Service was friendly and efficient, not at all stuffy, exactly as you’d want. Social distancing and hygiene were strictly observed with frequent discreet cleaning of commonly touched parts. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough and wish them the very best of luck and hope they manage to keep afloat through this difficult time, they definitely deserve to.More
