Lotz Pub, Rejstejn

Our visit in May 2019 was our second time at Lotz and it was just as good as our first time. The nice young couple (can't remember their names) that run the place sort of remembered us from our first visit and it was very...good to see them again. We first visited Rejstejn in October 2018 during the off-season and it was very quiet, not many pubs or restaurants were open. We were referred to Lotz by a lady who saw us walking around and we were very happy to come in out of the cold. The young guy spoke English to me and Czech with the Hubs and explained all the dishes to us, made recommendations to us as well. The beer selection was good and the beer itself was excellent, as you’d expect in a Czech restaurant. I don’t remember what I ate the first visit (Oct 2018) but this time I had the house special, pork with dumplings, cabbage, and gravy. It was delicious, even better than my mother-in-law’s, and it was nice and hot when it came to the table. The service was very good on both visits. There was an older lady who was in the kitchen, and a younger woman who served us. She was very nice, and funny, in that dry Czech way. And they have the most darling dog in the world, although the dog stayed outside. If you are ever in Rejstejn, go here!More

Great stylish place to have beer or whole lunch! Its situated on the hiddenend of village in the old local house. Inside it looks like in the 18th century. Garden is comfortable, there is even sofa to have a rest! Stuff is so friendly and...meal is delicios! I do the stop when I am riding round on motorcycleand its also welcoming for cycling people. For me its top restaurant in the area.More

The soup - broth was made from broth cubes, it didn´t taste good at all. Main course was ok, we got the výpečky, zelí, knedlík but definitely not the best one! Most of the restaurants in town were closed so this was the only option....Overall, I would not come back again.More
