Glasthule has changed so much in recent years and this cafe/restaurant is well worth dropping in to. A colleague and I had a business lunch here recently. We had a very tasty smoked salmon quiche with salad leaves and the Duck wrap also with salad along with two coffees afterwards. 22 Euros not including tip is good lunchtime value in... More

What a find.We had lunch there on Saturday with a friend who lives nearby. We loved the atmosphere, food and service. Nice idea having an eatery in a wine shop.

64 wine have recently started serving hot food on Friday and Saturday evening! So we tried it out! Delicious slow roasted lamb dish. Quirky interior and friendly staff further enhance the experience! Platters, vegetarian, cheese or meat, remain a firm favourite.

I rarely think of writing a review on a place at home so here is a wee note to say that this little place tucked away in Glasthule (near Dun Laoghaire) is a nice find. You can have a glass of wine - a little pricey maybe at €7/8 or you can buy a bottle from the shelf. We chose... More

Thank you Michael for taking the time to both visit us and to share your comments. I'm afraid there is no way that I could run the wine bar without charging corkage. I employ 12 people in this aspect of the business and the 8€ is only a fraction of what restaurants charge on top of the cost of the... More

Sure it can be cramped. Sure it can be very busy but the coffee is great, the location is great and the scones are great. My wife and I visit regularly for breakfast and just love it. Highly recommended if you don't want the Irish fry!

Good coffee & scone. They have richer snacks also. It is actually a wine shop - so possibly good in the evening also!
