Good ale and wine, nicely decorated, friendly host and custom and good food.....in short all you want from a real English country pub. It was busy, but no too much, so obviously we weren't the only people who like it. Visit and enjoy.

4 main meals and one child's meal - all very tasty. A cosy village pub with lovely friendly staff. A good choice of meals and all that we ordered were very good! Super for a village pub!

The food was great and enjoyed , always good service from Jackie the long serving waitress . This is a good pub , with all the aspects that many so called pubs lack these... More

16/18 of us attended the lunch today at The Crown Inn. My meal was delicious and everyone else seemed very satisfied with theirs too. The quality of the food and service was excellent. Very friendly waitresses. A cosy and comfy atmosphere left to get on with our catching up with news of everyone and everything no feeling of being rushed.... More

Living locally, we thought we would eat here on new years eve, early evening as our usual local was not serving food. We were welcomed into the bar and restaurant by pleasant barman and waitress and sat down to order. Menu was a little restrictive but having placed our order, food came promptly and efficiently. I had the gammon steak... More
