I went here today for a special lunch to thank some friends They’re locals and hadn’t had lunch there before plus they’re in the tourist industry and were very impressed as was I, with the food , choice , price , service and friendliness .the...view is perfect and I will be returning . The chef puts a modern international twist on traditional food and the portions are large , hot and tasty . The steamed vegetables were the best we’ve had . We had steak tartare , pork tenderloins with mushrooms and vegetables plus dumplings , plus a spiced bean and beef ragout , duck with plum chilli sauce from the chilli menu . The menu is fresh and exciting . The staff were very accommodating and spoke perfect English for me.More

We stopped at Marina Liptov at the end of june and were enchanted by surroundings and cosy interior. Everyone from the staff was nice and smiling and we also learnt interesting facts about our coffee which was very good. We felt pleasant and we´ll certainly...come back to taste food.More

Dont come here for italian food. No pizza and no pasta. No steaks. Not reccomended for people that love italian food.

I visited Marina Liptov during weekend in October with my family. It was nice experience. Place is cozy and stylish, staff was smiling and helpful. The food was really good and brought out quickly. I had ceasar salat and it was delicious. My only point...are the prices, which I find too high. Location is also awesome, when Liptovska Mara lake offers infinitive opportunities spending time outside.More

We came here after sailing a boat at the Liptovsky mara. The food is o.k., the service is good and they speak english. We sat outside in front of the lake view. It is very hot outside and no a.c in. The prices are the...highest we payed after 12 days here.More

By sheer chance we found this excellent restaurant having seen a sign to it on the nearby main road. The restaurant has only recently opened in a brand new beautifully designed modern building, lots of wood and glass. There is a lovely big terrace that...overlooks Lake Liptov. We were surprised and delighted to find such good food and great service, the manager was really helpful. We can highly recommend Marina. There are also four holiday apartments attached to it and a spa.More

The place is very nice, view absolutely amazing. We just stopped for a coffee and cakes. Trdelník was very good, however, the cheesecake was, according to my friend, "the worst cheesecake she's ever had and super dry". Coffee was good but cold.

What a stunning, beautiful place!! When you are visiting Slovakia, that's the place to stay!! Great position, just next to the Liptovska Mara and a few minutes to Tatra mountains.
