I've been coming here over the years and it just wows people with the panoramic view over the bay. The food has always been very good, though I haven't tried there new line of fish and chips. They always have a good selection of seafood and as well as the main menu there are daily specials. I had a monkfish... More

Went on a damp Saturday morning but were cheered by the welcome. Limited parking but was ok for us. Signage for the entrance needs to be more prominant. We had a table in the window of this old Lifeboat station which gave us a great outlook to sea and coast. Needs a bit of a tidyup outside though. Menu had... More

Well I have never written a review before - but this place I felt deserved it. Fantastic venue, splendid view, friendly and helpful staff. Good food - what a great place for lunch.

We stay in Coverak off season usually a couple of times a year. We had planned to eat in the pub across the road. However as we walked down the hill we got a waft of chip shop smell so we dediced to have a quick drink and pick up some F&C to take back with us. Very welcoming staff.... More

Despite arriving outside normal opening hours (it was around 3.30pm) the owner offered to accommodate us, offering a table I the restaurant at which to eat the takeaway from the adjoining fish bar, This was a very welcome gesture and enabled a very pleasant dining experience with great sea views and a warm restaurant to ourselves along with a splendid... Was really hungry for good fish and chips. Order this with mushy peas and cup of tea. Staff were friendly and efficient but £14.00 I didn't expect frozen chips. I was very disappointed. The fish had a light batter and was tasty. Amazing views of the harbour.

This takeaway once won the best fish and chips in the UK in a national newspaper. We have used it for years when visiting the Lizard and drive for miles to get there. It was previously outstanding: they only cooked haddock, always fresh and it was a huge thick fillet. Visited this evening, first time in 18 months, discovered there... More

There aren't many places to eat seafood where you can look out to sea, down the lifeboat slipway, sip sauvignon blanc and eat fish that has been landed a few yards away. This is a delightful place, with a really friendly team, and some great recipes. We had monkfish tagine, as a main, which was really tasty. The best bit... More
