Don't miss it, this restaurant/agriturismo will ensure you try to return. The food here, especially the anti-pasta and the prima courses are tremendous. The restaurant is not that easy to find, so you need to ensure you know where it is before you set off,...or get the address from their website. Diego & his wife (Lucia) must be the best cooks in this area. Yes there are quite a few Massarias and Agriturismos in this area but this is the finesr we have found. If you have yet to visit this area but your friends are getting here before you, then pass this tip on.More

We first visited Casa Porcara about 3 years ago and have been back many times since. In general eating out in Puglia can be repetitive or even mundane unless you want to spend a fortune, however we were recommended to visit Casa Porcara by a...local family who are now friends. The food is all grown locally on the farm (even the liquors are home made and very interesting). The couple who run the restuarant which is also an agriturismo/hotel are great and informative, Diago lived in London for some time so can speak english after a few minutes. The restuarant is generally open at the weekend and can get busy at lunchtmes so might be good to book if you can. The place is not so easy to find, so make sure you get a post code for your Sat Nav or ask before you head there, exactly which road it is on. The restaurant/hotel is at the end of 4-500 metre road/track. You won't be disappointed, I suggest you have the starters (of which there are many, 'if you ask, they will come', probably order the pasta or the meat rather than both, you will unlikely finish 3 courses unless you haven't eaten since yesterday. Good eating.More

Had a lovely Sunday lunch. After awesome antepasto and primi no room for secondo. Great dolce and digestivo too.
