Simply the best greek food in Athens. If you are in the neighbourhood make sure to visit. the ambiance is warm yet modern. The food is clean and fresh. We ordered the stamnagathi (fresh greens from the island of Crete) and lamb, the rooster and home made pasta. The mushrooms and tomato patties were also to die for as well.

I can not recommend this restaurant enough. I have been for both business lunches and dinner with family when I visit Athens; it is ideal for both occasions. Stand-out dishes include: apaki (smoked pork), dolmades (stuffed wine leaves), rabbit with yogurt pasta, ground meat patties stuffed with cheese, and the roast glazed pork for 2 or 4 people. What is... More

I visited the place a Wednesday night for a business dinner with some guests from Spain. The place is fabulous and my guests loved it. The quality of the food is superb, all the dishes we had were fantastic. The best i think was kokoras with siufihta, try it. Apaki was very good also, dakos as well, sausage was quite... More

Easy to reach place. Nicely housed in a mansion with garden. Cretan deco and ornaments. Clean and tidy. As for the food and recipies, I think you should try it. Balanced tastes full of Crete. They welcome you with a “kerasma” Raki and farewell you with another “kerasma” dessert. Recommended!

We have been looking for a restaurant to have some dinner and found this place. The food specially the starters have been perfect. However I have to admit it was a bid to much. Service was nice and took good care on us. The only thing which could be improved is the selection on beer. However nice Greece restaurant, I... More

The combination of tasty, well-prepared food with interesting traditional tastes together with the cozy, welcoming and relaxing atmosphere made my experience in this particular restaurant more than great. This was the first time for me to try Cretan food but it is definitely not the last time, and if anything I will probably end up at Krissa Gi. With the... More

Amazing traditional cretan cousine, recommended by friends, really helpful and cheerful stuff. They recommended apaki, staka, kaltsounia, ntolamdes and a main course of tsigariasto lamb and pork. Everything was perfectly cooked and an interesting challenge for your taste. Thank you Krissa Gi!

I've been here numerous times. The quality is always consistent. What i love most about this place is that the portions are generous, of high quality and easy on the stomach. The ambiance is warm and welcoming. The highlites on the menu are the 'dolmadakia', the stuffed wine leaves with rice are fresh and unlike anywhere else I've tried in... More

We visit the restaurant Saturday noon. The place was quiet, only two tables, the staff polite and quick. But the taste of the food wasn't something special, in small portion. It hasn't changed the last 5 years, still expensive with no cretan hospitality.
