Four very wet motorcyclists arrived at the Ponderosa, not only did we receive a very warm welcome from Marian, she was kind enough to let us stay!!!! while we were unpacking she rang a local restaurant to try and book a table for later that...evening for us. The en-suite rooms were spotlessly clean and well laid out. Endless amounts of piping hot water was available, and the shower was very powerful. Beds are comfortable and there are TV's in the rooms. A lovely lounge is also available to relax in. The breakfast was enormous, we chose the full Irish breakfast with top ups of toast and tea if required (it wasn't) in fact the breakfast kept us going all day.
Plenty of car/bike parking spaces around the house which has a long drive, so vehicles are well off the road.
5 minute walk to Louisburgh town centre with plenty of restaurants/ pubs to cater for most tastes.
Marian is a lovely lady and we enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning. Really recommend this beautiful b&b as it is excellent value for money as well.More
