The restaurant has recently been taken over and what an improvement. Great menu, I had a delicious monk fish tail risotto and sublime sticky toffee pudding with attentive professional service. Overall a great improvement, yes it's dearer than your average pub grub but worth it!

I was here with some friends on a photo trip and we were lucky to have it open especially for us. This meant a limited menu but it still tasted fantastic. The Kilpeck Inn is very much a traditional pub with plenty of small rooms...More

I took my 96 year old father for Sunday lunch. We were made very welcome and all of the staff were friendly and efficient. There was a good number of choices on the set menu and at reasonable fixed prices for 1, 2 and 3...More

The pub itself is very smart yet retains old charm. The menu is interesting and every course we had was superb. I had monkfish with risotto. The flavours were amazing and the monkfish melted in the mouth, as did the squid starter. Others had lamb...More

I asked 5 local people including my landlady where is the best local place to get a great Sunday Lunch and they all said the Kilpeck inn. None of them were wrong, the food was great.

We have visited the Kilpeck whilst it has had 3 different owners. Although the food was good - I had hake, which was on the small side but loads of mushy peas(!) We found the service very slow and the staff pleasant but not 'cheerful...More

This was not my first visit to this restaurant, and although the group of friends I was with have this amongst their top ten, I still needed to be convinced, but I'm afraid I was not! The starter was adequate- but nothing special, but the...More

We booked for Sunday lunch & were warmly welcomed. The menu was short but a good variety of main courses, with smaller portions for children. All was delicious & left little room for desserts, but one of our party couldn’t resist the plum & almond...More

Warm welcoming and friendly place in the most beautiful village (a trip to the church is a must). We ate, out of choice in the bar area, sitting on sheepskins, which we preferred than sitting in the noisy restaurant. Great food and reasonably priced with...More

Located in the rural Herefordshire, the historic Kilpeck Inn was sympathetically restored in 2009 to extend the dining area and add accommodation. It still retains its special character and offers a warm welcome, friendly service and top quality food sourced from local suppliers. Come and sit by the fireplace and enjoy a pint of local ale, eat at the bar or in our refurbished restaurant or stay in one of our luxurious en-suite bedrooms.
