We had lunch there late Sunday afternoon, I had the roast Pork with probably the best crackling I've ever had! My partner had the veggie option which they tailored to her needs. A very friendly pub where all the staff muck in to make it...More

We visited for dinner on a Friday night whilst staying in the village. We booked a table, but didn't really need to as it was pretty quiet. The food was of a good standard for a local pub. We had the steak and chips and...More

Sorry to say that our meals were at best average. Microwaved pastry on the pie, limp french fries and not well presented. Service was fine but it does seem that it matters who is doing the cooking on a particular day. Don't like being critical...More

The restaurant is not too noisy. Holds about 30 to 40 max. There should not be too much commotion but call ahead to find out how busy it would on the day you would be going out for your meal. Hope this will help.

This is a real pub! We stay loyal to the buildings roots and ensure it has the atmosphere we all relish from a pub. We serve quality local and national real ales including a number from our own brewery just 2 miles up the road, as well as excellent lagers, wines, whiskies and more. Our food is homemade and prepared fresh to order, of excellent quality taking advantage of local and seasonal produce , Offering value for money in a relaxed and casual atmosphere.
