The restaurant is in a converted barn in a pretty village. Easy to find using satnav. There are 20 covers so booking is advisable at weekends. There is a €43 menu of three courses with several a la carte suggestions. However two amuses bouches precede the entree; both were very tasty. We chose the cucumber sorbet, sweet radish and parsley... More

Still as enjoyable as previous years, owner operated well run countryside property with very good food and great rooms. A little out of the way and your GPS will help. Well worth the trip.

Stayed over two nights - both evening meal and breakfast was impressive. Its worth staying in this lovely little hotel but even if you weren't the restaurant is worth a trip.

Sebastian Adom is a master chef, creating delicious dishes from simple fresh, locally sourced ingredients. We enjoyed, crab, veal and turbot, served with cucumber and tomato sorbets and market vegetables, all perfectly cooked and simply presented with style. A fresh apple pannacotta and local cheeses completed a memorable meal.

During a stay with friends in nearby Saulchoy we booked a meal here for a celebratory dinner. We were not disappointed. The owner welcomed us into the restaurant which is small, beautifully & tastefully decorated and overlooks beautiful wooded grounds. The owners wife serves table and describes the menu, which is limited especially for vegetarians so if any vegetarians book... More

The restaurant has a small dining-room, with varied menu and good selection of wines. Good service and modest prices. A fine dining experience.

This is a great place to stay for a quiet break in the French countryside. The rooms are very modern and comfortable. It's not too far to drive from the port yet far enough to make it a truly French experience. The owners are a delight and the food is very good indeed, both the breakfast and evening meal.

I now live in France and the French have an expression. "Correct". It signifies, as I understand it, that the menu, service and food are exactly as you would expect from an Establishment of a particular nature. Let Clos de LA Prairie is just that. Nothing less and nothing more. That may sound like a criticism but it's exactly the... More

We stayed for just one night and enjoyed an amazing evening meal in the restaurant adjacent to our beautiful and very comfortable rooms. Great atmosphere, wonderful views, and a lovely part of France. The gardens at Abbaye de Valloires are nearby and breathtaking. We will return for a longer stay in the autumn.

This is the fourth time we have stayed in Le Clos and Sebastien and Sandrine did not disappoint. The welcome was warm, the accommodation was clean and comfortable and the food superb. Thank you once again for a great stay!
