We were a large group of 10 and opted for the 3 course lunch menu for about €30-40 euros a head. Food was excellent and the setting on the terrace was beautiful. Staff were friendly but we were left hanging for long periods of time at certain points, including having to remind staff to bring wine that we had ordered... More

We travelled two hours from Spain for lunch. In the end we decided against the several Menus and chose off the carte. Started out great with a cold, dry white wine and champagne aperitifs, but went downhill after that. We were seated in the least covered part of the terrace, with a broiling sun, and not made aware that the... More

First Class meal, stupendous value at 19 euros for the 3 course set lunch. No choices at this price but with this chef you will not go wrong. Well done !

We've been coming here for several years and have appreciated the steadily improving standards of M. Marin's cuisine. His recently awarded Michelin * is well deserved. Discreet but professional service endorses the accomplished cooking anddelicate presentation of mainly locally-sourced ingredients. Painstaking and artistically prepared dishes are the order of the day all served with care and flair. There is a... More

Our second visit to this restaurant and on both occasions we have been extremely happy with the experience. It has a nice informal feel, the terrace on a sunny day is ideal. The service is spot on with just the right balance of attention and being left alone to enjoy, not at all fussy but all our needs were seen... More

This place is hidden away in a little village amongst the vines, about 30 mins from Perpignan. It is definitely worth the trip. Despite having a michelin star, it retains a country 'auberge' feel, with the chef/owner greeting you and seeing you to your table. There is a terrace for summer dining and a cozy dining room for the winter... More

We went with expectations set very high both due to the many very good TripAdvisor reviews and due to the recent Michelin award. We had the 6 course taste menu with accompaning wine menu The setting and the restuarant in itself as well as the reception and the service during the meal was very good. So was the selection of... Excellent meal yesterday evening. We both had the Menu Font de la Maine. We always come when we are on holiday here in Maury. Yesterday the fish (pageot) was delicious with its somptuous lemony/buttery sauce. The best was the dessert for which I broke my own rules : a Saint Honore with creme princess and an amazing abricot ice cream,... More

Consistently good quality, if not sensational, food can be enjoyed in this pleasant small restaurant a short drive from Perpignan near the wine town of Tautavel. We were a little disappointed with the wine-pairings offered - the red in particular was a bit of an ordinary Carignan-based wine but altogether an enjoyable experience.

We went with a friend who often visits top restaurants, and from the cold reception , to the over-formal service , and less than average food, we were sorely disappointed. We had been some years ago before the Michelin star was awarded and were not impressed but thought we should go again since Michelin are supposed to know what they... More
