Very nice dinner in a friendly environment. The creamy vegetable soup was excellent as was the prawns and vegetable stir fry. A great place to experience the local flavor. Excellent service. Best place in the Carna area for dinner.

Called in on a sunny Autumn Sunday afternoon for some food. We were immediately greeted by a pleasant young barman who immediately made us feel welcome & directed us to a nice window table overlooking the lovely rugged moorland settling into the golden brown autumnal...vegetation. Without delay or rushed in any way our orders were taken & the proprietor's came to our table to say hello as indeed they did with all other tables, Our food consisted of seafood chowder, duck & a stir fry. We both certainly enjoyed the food & as I wasn't driving mine was washed down with a lovely creamy pint of Guinness. I look forward to a return visit.More
Our charity cycle group stopped for lunch in Glynsk House on our Wild Atlantic Way cycle. We were close to 100 people, arriving in split groups but nothing was too much for Mary and team. They were super welcoming with loads of tasty hot food...to get our group fed & back on the road. They were a pleasure to deal with from booking to payment and all our cyclists were super positive about their experience in our short but enjoyable stop. From Mary herself, to all the staff we had the pleasure in dealing with they were extremely friendly & accommodating. Thank you Mary & team!More
Had a wonderful lunch in Glynsk House. Fantastic food and the best service I've had in a long time, in luxurious surroundings the price was so reasonable too.
Had a spectacular lunch today with my fiancé. We had the chicken fillet burger and the tuna melt off of the lunch menu, both very tasty. Thank you to the lovely young waitress who looked after us at all times and provided us with directions...to some beautiful local beaches. Lovely selection of items also available in the craft shop. We can’t wait to return on our next visit to Ireland.More
Myself and my friends had the best time at Glynsk House. From the food to the service , everything was impeccable. Would highly recommend this restaurant to all. Especially loved the irish coffee and sticky toffee pudding.
Staying at Glinsce (Glynsk) on the west coast of County Galway we visited this restaurant twice. Once as a couple and then for a family gathering of 6 adults and 4 children (4yrs to 12yrs) On both occasions the welcome, the service and the food...were all excellent. Our first visit as a couple taught us that the meals were big (fish chowder followed by main of lemon sole) and so on the second visit we opted for a main course only. My sizzling plate was big in size and flavour, though we did then succumb to the desserts which were equally good Strongly recommend if you are in this area. The owner and staff make you feel very welcome and the food is excellent.More

I would highly recommend Glynsk House. Its food is excellent. There is plenty of choice and the staff are extremely helpful and friendly.
Food was brilliant, staff and owner were incredibly friendly making this outing an amazing experience. All three of us ordered different mains and desserts from the menu, all the food was cooked to perfection and came in large portions at a low price. Dessert was...to die for and the new iced coffee is top class. 100% will come again and I'd highly recommend it to everyone.More
