Visited two times because on the fist visit they had not fresh fish so we went again. First time we had the Hippus salad, small and with vinenegar dressing, not much to say about it. Second starter: the perch chevice was fantastic, more on the...sweet side than acidic and with dill. The reideer-vegetable scewers vith fries were very nice: reindeer meat is always left more or less rare, it's so low fat that only meatballs are made well done. The big pile of fries was just that: no sauce of any kind, which made the whole portion dryish. On the second visit both took teindeer skagen as starter: tiny white toast with a ball of smoked reindeer in thick (sour?): creme. Too much creme, The days fresh fish was pike-perch on vegetable bed. Again a bulls-eye performance. The only dessert we tried was the apple bundle, this had a thick hard dough shell in the other end.More

We spent a great time here, the food was delicious and the service was great. We had pizza, reindeer mint balls and pasta, everything is worth trying. We also liked the music!

We visited the restaurant twice on our holiday. On our first visit we ate from a'la carte list reindeer plate, smoked fish and turnip soup, sauteed reindeer. All really delicious! Also very friendly customer service. Due to this very good experience we booked a table...also for the next evening. Pizza it was, Kopero! Good food, very nice service again 😊. Next time when we come to Pyhä we will most certainly visit Huttuhippu again 😊More

Having a dinner at a restaurant after COVID-19 lockdown was an experience itself. Despite of this surprising opening over one night, Huttuhippu provided us with excellent service and delicious dishes from a starter to a dessert. Extra bonus for tasty local ingredients , beautiful setup...of every dish, and a nice glass of Barbera d’Asti. We’ll be back!More

Huttuhippu is no doubt the best place to dine out at Pyha proper (Aihki I have been told is in a league of its own, but outside of the village). Unfortunately, that is not hard to do, as competition is practically non-existent. Why Huttuhippu stands...out is that they try not only to (badly) imitate food available at any filling station in the country, but try something original. Reindeer fillet and smoked perch stand out, for example. Service, as everywhere at Pyha, is well, sporadic at best.More

Absolutely enjoyed the dinner. I have never had as tender reindeer filee as I was served here. And I have had several great ones elsewhere. The whole dish was tasty and well prepared. Friendly service enhanced the pleasant experience. Thank you!

When we got in the restaurant it was about half full, but it took still over 1,5 hours for us to get the main course. The explanation was that the restaurant got almost full during that time. We did get some discount on the bill,...but would have expected status updates (perhaps some small snacks for the kids during the wait) The food: - fish (pikeperch) was very good - escargots partly over fried, ok overall - reindeer was dry - pizzas were goodMore

Tasty pizza with a reasonable price. Nice that they have very different topping options, like reindeer and lingonberry! If you are hungry for pizza, definitely a place for you.

Really friendly staff and cosy ambience. Husband and I had Reindeer fillet and the Smoked reindeer, both were delicious. Teenagers had burgers and pizza also delicious. Short walk from Pyhä apartments.

Lovely restaurant at the Pyha ski resort with cozy ambience. Staff was friendly and excellent at recommending dishes. The sautéed reindeer and reindeer burger along with Lingonberry juice we ordered were absolutely delicious!
