This summer café is a real gem! Situated in a old refurbished stable (bring a sweater if you feel cold easily) and surrounded by a well kept ranch courtyard you can sit either in or out. The selection is impressive. Home made bakery products never...seem to fail. This time we had strawberry cake with quark filling + lemon sponge cake with coffee. Tasty and innovative thin-crust pizzas (around 30 options) are also worth testing (e.g. Country White with crème fraiche, blue cheese, onion and potato). Vegan and gluten free options are available. Menu continues with baked potatoes, salads and soup. There is even house made soft ice. And don't miss the flea market! From the direction from Ylöjärvi just before Kuru village turn right from Poikeluksentie and drive 2,5 km.More

We stopped at this cosy little cafeteria/pizzeria on our way north. I was gladly surprised to find that they also served gluten free pizza (normal as well) and a great variety of home made pastries, of which two were gluten free. I took pizza and...one of the pastries and they tasted very good. The pastry was also very delicious looking (which you can't always say with pastries...). This place is a must if driving the same road in the future. It's also located right by the highway, which was handy. One pizza cost about 7-9 euros.More
