This restaurant is NOT closed! We had a delicious meal here after an easy drive from Kokkino Chorio. Very tasty tarama dip with fresh warm bread followed by smoked pork steak and stuffed courgette flowers filled with prawns and mussels. Raki plus cherries and yoghurt...were complimentary. GO!More
We had lunch here after exploring the lovely village of Vamos. Our visit was towards the end of our stay and it was nice to see a few Cretan dishes on offer that I hadn’t seen on the menu at any other places.
We enjoyed...some amazing stuffed vine leaves and a delicious buttermilk stew of some kind. It also had a number of local beers on offer that I hadn’t seen elsewhere.
Well worth visiting for lunch or tea. We certainly will be back!More
We've been here three times. And it doesn't get any better. This was our last attempt.
Last time we waited more than half an hour for the waiters to "realize", that we were there.
Actually they were busy with unwrapping the new modern chairs (why...modern? why not stick to the old and charming ones?). The appetizers were really tiny and not really good, the main course was small and disappointing... there also was no Raki (like the last times)... and the waiters were busy with discussing and trying out the new chairs. We didn't feel welcome (mother & daughter who just adore the area) at all... and definitely will not come back again. Jamas!More
