Excellent service-top class. If you stay in a 5 star hotel you expect 5 star dining and this is exactly what you get at Louro. The food is amazing, unusual dishes cooked to perfection with a wine list so big it’s almost impossible to choose.
The service is the best you will find anywhere, friendly, helpful and 100% professional, to add to this, amazing views of the pool area and live entertainment on certain nights which is not to loud and the blend of music you wants to hear when chilling with great food
Cannot praise this restaurant enough and we ate there 4 out of the 6 night’s we stayed. If your in the area make sure you visit this restaurant

I stayed a week in the Conrad and had breakfast here seven mornings and dinner three evenings. On my first morning I was shown around the buffet area but was not informed about the a la carte menu. As a consequence I had the “ hot” buffet the first two mornings which was at best tepid and had to be reheated. The evening meals were excellent although the menu does not vary which is why I only ate here three nights. On two of the three evenings there was background live music, a saxophonist and then a couple on guitar and vocals. Service was excellent as it was everywhere in the hotel.

Came here for a birthday dinner while on vacation in Almancil. The website indicated a degustación dinner but it wasn’t available when we asked so we went a la carte. Dishes were ver6 nice, service was a little slow given there weren’t actually many people eating on the terrace. The views of the pool were very nice. Personally I didn’t think the live duet added to the evening. An unusual chill made the waiting seem longer but can’t criticize the food.

It is great to return to the Algarve again after the limited travel of the past couple of years, and great to see Louro restaurant at the high standard appropriate for this high quality hotel. We have dined in Louro many times over the years. The menu this year is excellent. The staff are well informed and attentive. The restaurant has a superb setting overlooking the large infinity pool. All the dishes we had were imaginative, beautifully presented and perfectly cooked. The restaurant is in the Conrad hotel and car parking for non-residents is easily available. We strongly recommend Louro restaurant for discerning diners.

Another excellent evening at Louro. The food is always cooked to perfection the lamb was superb and desert was amazing. The staff are always 1st class and the restaurant has an superb atmosphere with a singer providing the right blend of music to make for a wonderful evening

Went for lunch at LOURO with friends. Had a beautiful table on the terrace overlooking the pool . The service was excellent and we were looked after by Claudia . Wine suggestions really good. Had prawn piri piri which was delicious followed by chicken piri piri also excellent. I asked for chicken thighs and that’s exactly what I got. The deserts were incredible and delicious. We were also served by a young Indian man who gave the best customer service I have received for quite some time . I was really impressed and will definitely go back.

I often avoid restaurants and hotels that I stay in because I’ve been let down more times than not. We have tried this restaurant in the past with mixed outcomes.
We however tried it again one summers evening, and we’re not let down. The food was excellent service even better. The setting is very appealing overlooking the swimming pool and the backdrop of the open land and trees (at least until it goes dark)!
The only negative point I can make is the accompaniment of a very poor musician. He managed to murder. Several classic songs is not his fault, just the thought of the person that hired him. For he did not spoil the food.

Alway eat here when staying at the Conrad hotel. The food is excellent and staff very hard working and attentive.
There is always relaxing live background music being played which sets a beautiful atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit if in the area

We eat twice here in the evening. Simply wonderful food. Highlights were prawn Piri Piri starter and prawn and lobster main course. Miguel was the waiter and added to the occasion creating perfect ambience. Thank you

We are staying at the Conrad and went here on our first night. The food and service were both outstanding and we also experienced a wonderful guitar player. We had a magical meal and will make sure we go again when we come back!

Lovely food great view.

A friendly restaurant for lunch or dinner with attentive staff and good selection of food. Nice setting but could be cool in an evening if there is a breeze. Pleasant entertainment at dinner without being intrusive.

We enjoyed several delicious meals in Louro during our week trip. The staff here are INREDIBLE! Special mention to Miguel and Ankit who made us feel so welcome with their warmth & hospitality. It's a holiday we'll never forget and we cannot wait to return next year.

Lovely setting, lovely food and fantastic staff.

Lunch. small menu. Average food, definitaley NOT 5 star hotel quality. Lets start with the service . Excellent friendly attention from Margarida. The rest of the staff were also attentive. The decor is modern and pleasant. Thats where anything over average ends.
The usual Portuguese standard clams on the menu (not very inventive) . A small dish of perhaps 18 clams , days old were 34€ more than 1€ for each miserable example!
Expecting poor quality I played safe ordering a Caesar salad. The kitchen is nt capable of assembling such a simplistic dish properly. The only essential ingredient to get right is the dressing. Their pathetic effort was a tasteless watery wash. No lemon, no mustard. Even the croutons were diced old bread baked hard in an oven so hard they were inedible.
The chef - better suited to prepping, served a good chicken pil pil. The menu's "Chefs Signature Dish" . Such a simple traditional dish can be eaten everywhere in Portugal . No need to visit a 5 star hotel to try it.
The final kicker adding insult to injury, was a bottle of still water AT NINE 9 € . Absolute unparallelled robbery. 3 people 2 starters - `poor. 3 main courses - one inedible. 2 nicely presented very good deserts and 3 bottles of plain water was over 200€
A ridiculous price for poor food.
My recomendation : Eat elsewhere, not only for lower prices but for edible enjoyable food.
Disgusted we will never return.
