PURE is the home of healthy, colourful food at Quinta do Lago. Step inside the bright and relaxed café and you’ll see the abundance of fresh and vibrant ingredients available to create your made-to-order meal. Start as you mean to go on by choosing one of the nutritious and balanced breakfast options from the menu, accompanied by a fresh hot cup of coffee or herbal tea and served at your table in the lovely outdoor patio with views of the 8th hole of the North Course. Busy place! Staff provided an excellent and knowledgable service. Hard to choose from the menu as all the dishes looked fantastic, looking at what other customers had chosen. Settled on the Duck dish. It was simply fantastic. Had a capucino which was presented with the utmost care and attention. Finished off with freshly baked Banana Bread. The salads and cake display, inside looked amazing. Beautiful setting overlooking the golf course. In these days great to see staff sanitising tables and chairs when a customer arrives and departs

Great delicious healthy Cafe

I was here yesterday. The food and juices were delicious. I cannot understand the negative review about the service quality, which I found to be pretty good. We were looked after, staff was friendly, took time to explain all daily’s bakery items and we were served fast. Yes, nobody checked in between if everything is fine and we wanted something more, but it’s a Cafe not a Michelin Restaurant. Great place, can’t wait to go back. The view on the golf course is beautiful.

Lovely lunch

Today is our second visit for lunch at PURE. We were served by Amy who was fantastic! As a coeliac I have to be very careful. Amy went above and beyond to help make sure my lunch was gluten free. I love the daily salads in the counter. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The outside area is beautiful.

Terrible service

Writing this review because ive never experienced such bad service from a "high end" place. Staff don't care and look down on you, we stood waiting for a table for 30mins even though their were 3 tables available, took us another 10mins to get serviced when the food eventually came it took another 30mins for them to bring the bill and give us our change. Food is nothing special ive had far better for less the price. All over priced and up themselves, I dont understand why staff look down on your there waitresses themselves. Seriously don't bother

Beautiful setting and staff but breakfast a let down

I really really really want to give Pure a great review because the staff are friendly, welcoming and chatty, however, I can’t. We even came back again to give the place another chance. The setting is beautiful and the cafe very clean. The food is the real let down :-( The bacon was rock hard (could not even cut it never mind chew it). If you order beans you get the smallest amount, so need to order more and then it becomes very expensive. The toast is dry, bland and tasteless. They have a few gluten free options which is why we went in the first place, however, it’s no good if you’re a coeliac like me because I was told today there’s a high chance of cross contamination with all of the foods including the salads and gf cakes. I wasn’t aware of this until I was leaving.

Extremely poor service - Terrible staff

We entered Pure to be met by an extremely aggressive lady, who demanded we pay 2 Euros for face coverings. We asked about brunch. She said it was not available yet, it was 11am. She slammed down menus on our table. She had rude abrupt manner, we felt very uncomfortable, told her our feelings to which she looked down on us. We have never experienced this type of service. Terrible staff. We are shocked a restaurant expecting to have valuable customers would allow this type of attitude. We will never return.

Dear Guest, Thank you for your feedback following your visit to Pure. We are truly sorry that in this instance we were unable to meet your expectations regarding your experience. Rest assured that these are not our usual standards and that we have shared your comments with the Restaurant Manager for her immediate attention. As per COVID-19 | Measures implemented in Portugal, it is mandatory the use of mask in closed spaces and recommended outdoors when the distance between people cannot be ensured; in case the guest will not bring one mask, we provide it with a cost of 2€ per unit. Regarding Brunch Menu, at Pure we have 2 menus, Breakfast from 8am to 12 and Brunch/Lunch from 12 to 4pm. I do apologise if this information was not shared correctly. Nice food but let down by poor service

Great food but the service was so slow and inattentive. The staff are nice but just have zero sense of urgency and a complete lack of awareness to the clients. It was quite busy but it is a small place and I would expect better from a business affiliated with Quinta do Lago. If they spent as much on their staff as they do on the aesthetics of the resort, they might offer a better catering product.....

Pleasant but lacked Warmth

We have visited most eating establishments in Quinta from high end to basic cafe's. Pure has a unique location on Av Andre Jordan and has both inside and outside seating. Weather was not great when we visited so we sat inside. It was reasonably full with only one or two spare tables. Staff were reasonably efficient but not very friendly. Food and juices were very nice. Pure has clean lines, spotless but needs to be more welcoming in my opinion.

Try if you like waiting around

Service or lack of it was disappointing to say the least. On the first visit we walked out after 15 minutes of being ignored , thought we would give them a second chance - no better - after 10 minutes had to walk over to the till and grab someone to take our order. Food and drinks are good - service is rubbish. Needs a floor manager to get a grip

Awful attitude from staff…. It repels guests from the restaurant

Lovely new menu “

Tranquil location overlooking the Golf Course’ have visited many times over the years “ the staff are wonderful and friendly’ can’t fault the service and love the new menu “” after browsing and giving careful thought and consideration I bravely choose the’Cilbir Eggs “ poached eggs in Greek yogurt “”it was outstanding delicious and is now my favourite “with a dash of tobasco sauce “highly recommend “

Sadly not worth it

Good food but sadly long wait to get a table, staff were not polite or attentive and had to ask 5 times for the bill! Unfortunately I can not recommend this place as I feel it’s reputation does not live up to what it actually is.

Had the salmon and scrambled eggs with Avocado. Of course ate the whole plate, the service was a bit slow though. But all in all very good.
