Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I’ve been coming here since it opened and have really tried to love it as it’s a beautiful location and there are limited brunch options in the area! Unfortunately, aside from a couple of exceptions, it’s just not very good food or coffee and it really does not deserve the rave reviews that it has. I don’t normally leave negative reviews but I am writing this purely to balance the positive rating as I feel most would have unrealistic expectations based on this page. The truth is that the food quality is not good - it’s lack lustre and you overpay for completely fine but small and flavourless dishes. I think it’s fair to summarise both food and service as lazy and it’s able to be so as the cash will keep rolling in due to its venue and lack of competition. Step it up Noa - you could be so good with just a bit of effort!

We were staying in Vilar do Golf and this is the onsite Cafe, which over looks the golf course near reception.
They were the only place that served coffee hot as opposed to luke warm, which seems to be prevalent.
I had the avocado on sourdough, which was lovely.
Prices are in line with other restaurants within the Quinta Do Largo resort - go outside of this to local restaurant, then prices are much cheaper.

For 3 days in a row me and my girlfriend had breakfast and lunch at NOA. We tried different dishes like eggs Benedict, salmon toast with eggs, oats with fruits, saladas and juices. Literally every single one of them was absolutely amazing, very tasty, well presented and super fresh. Also, I have to say it is not often that we find such amazing service nowadays. The two waitresses (they are sisters apparently) have incredible education and show great attention and professionalism. We are coming back next summer!

Nice decor and situation. We keep trying it for lunch but it keeps disappointing.
The food is average and the staff are uninterested and frankly not very good.
Today we ordered off one waitress, then the next waitress asked what we wanted. The Tuna Poke bowl I ordered stank and the fish was not not fresh and incinerated. I told the waitress, she said ok but did not apologise, I then ordered a bacon sandwich to be safe. The same waitress delivered it and then disappeared. I looked round and for 5 minutes there were no staff in the room to ask for any sauce. We just decided to eat quick and get out. The bacon was also overcooked.
All round very poor experience and it really lacks any management.

This brightly decorated "Cafe" is located off Roundabout 4, Avenue Andre Jordan, adjacent to the Medical Centre. There is a super deck and free parking. The menu is varied to include an all-day breakfast option with various juices made to order. Great staff and very good value.

Following our favourite place to brunch (U&Co) recently changing to only serving lunch and dinner, my partner and I decided to try Noa for breakfast for the first time.
Overall we found it to be a nice breakfast albeit with a few teething problems. Slightly understaffed, as we had a lengthy wait upon arrival, despite plenty tables being empty but not cleared away. Credit to a young lad who lives locally and was working his socks off - great to see a young 16yr old with such a great work ethic and good communication skills to boot who will no doubt go far.
There was a good selection of smoothies, we enjoyed the Immunity juice (which was very refreshing with a slight zing) and a Beetle juice (which had a gentle hit of ginger and was perfectly sweet) as well as an Iced Coffee and Latte.
We ordered a spinach and Mushroom Benedict as well as a Royal Benedict. One arrived quite promptly, but due to a "computer error" the second dish had not been given to the kitchen and so we ended up having to share the first dish together, as we waited for the 2nd dish to arrive. Not ideal.
Overall the eggs were perfectly cooked (although no Burford Brown!) and the mushrooms were delicious. The hollandaise sauce could have done with a little more flavour (our personal preference) and the Royal dish could have had a little more smoked salmon, but overall, the English muffin is what we felt let both dishes down as it was quite doughy/stodgy, not sure if this is down to the dough itself, or amount it was toasted.
Overall the dishes were very nice, and were presented lovely, but could easily be taken to the next level with a little more attention in our opinion. Plus the menu would benefit from a slight update as it was confusing seeing some items that we would deem to be breakfast/brunch, in the general sandwich lunch section.
We would certainly give Noa another try, however next time, we would ask to swap the muffin for sourdough instead.
Overall Noa is a lovely daytime spot and we love that well behaved dogs are welcome. Fingers crossed they take feedback into account, as it could easily become a favourite if they decided to take it to the next level!

The prices here have gone absolutely absurd. An Açaí bowl with added granola (€3) cost €17. A bowl of yogurt, a splash of fruit and a tiny amount of granola should in no way cost €17.
Our bill consisted of an American, tea, bottle of water, an Açaí bowl and a granola bowl. This all amounted to nearly €40. While the service is excellent, and it is a lovely location, the food is of average quality and just totally over priced. It is disappointing to see this happen, and I would have to say, I will be avoiding and not recommending to others due to the outrageous price increase.

Dear Guest,
Thanks for your review! Pleased to hear you love the place and had a excellent service!
Regarding the prices we have to say that no prices were increased since COVID and we haven’t reflected or passed to our clients any of the outrageous price increases from our local market suppliers.
Regarding our fresh made granola we kept the same price since we open doors back in 2018!
We feel sad In hearing that you feel we are daylight robbers! !
We will continue delivering a consistent and honest experience amongst our local resident community and travellers that pick NOA to have a lovely meal in amazing scenery and great service!

I visited Noa Cafe last week with my husband and two kids for breakfast. When the bill came I noticed there was an extra charge of €0.50c for milk. I asked the server what this was for and she said it was because we asked for milk with our americanos. Apparently milk is not included with the coffee!! This is not detailed anywhere on the menu. I am all for paying for good food in a nice setting but this just felt like a complete rip off. We will not be revisiting

...Whether for morning coffee, a special breakfast, lunch or an afternoon bottle of wine! The decor is lovely, light and airy; staff are a delight and couldn’t be more helpful - and they are constantly cleaning the place! Food is amazing - I won’t list every dish I tried but we weren’t disappointed in anything we had. Thank you ladies for making our holiday x

I’ve never written a bad review before, but I’m really upset with this experience. 3 of us visited yesterday. We ordered Rice salad with Tuna, natchos & guacamole & chicken wrap. There were only around 9 other customers & we waited nearly 65 minutes for our food - 3 locals walked in while we were waiting and they were served immediately & delivered their orders much sooner than us. When food arrived it was terrible, the Tuna was raw and the Nacho's & dip was so dry! The simple chicken wrap was ok. No apology given and far too expensive for such a poor experience .

My wife had a quiche, 5/10. eatable, just but not enjoyable. I had a lasanja, the worse one I have ever had, too much pasta, tough, uneatable. Meat tasteless, sauce, just like milk with dried herbs; cheese!!! Fresh orange juice? Weak, watered down? YET €4.95 a glass. (Water €2.50 sm bottle.) Yes Quinta da Lago always very expensive BUT no exsuse for awful food. Staff helpful

A super peaceful place and the characteristic smile of the staff upon arrival makes the space very welcoming. If there are any dietary restrictions or if you just don't like something in the dish you want, the staff quickly presents a proposal to resolve this restriction, which we were very pleased with. Food with a magnificent presentation and even better flavor. The care and friendliness with which we were received made it worth visiting this space, which I highly recommend. We will definitely be back

The best lunch in Quinta do Lago! We have visited around 6 times now, the food is excellent with a standard menu and many different specials of the day. The location is very pleasant and the staff attentive and friendly. We also ate in the sister restaurant Il Vero..it was very average (food and service) compared to Noa.

We were waiting 20 minutes for table (1/2 of the cafe was absolutely empty and tables were not prepared for the guests yet. When they opened the second half of the restaurant we got a table. Waiting another long time with menu in hand. Asking waitress and waiter 3 times if we can order always no even word only the gesture with the hand that we must wait. We finally left because we could even not order. Employees don’t care about the guests. We have not felt welcome at all.

Our experience was very good, amazing food and ambiance. We had the Schnitzel, Guacamole and the Salmon tacos, all very fresh and tasty.
The macaroons are also a delight.
But the thing that stood out, and in our opinion, made the visit and price worth while was one of the staff members- Pedro. Treated us with such care, genuinely wishing for us to have a pleasant experience.
Thank you Pedro! We will be back. :)
