Having experienced the 'real thing' in Argentina, we visited this place a few years ago in its original location near the harbour full of anticipation. It was empty, not a good sign, but a long wait for service was therefore surprising and unacceptable. An ungarnished plate with an okay steak plonked down and weird fried potato slices (looked like frozen... More

I searched and searched . Then I asked at the local supermarket and a nearby shop and they told me it was closed down. What a shame sounds a great place .

We had eaten here in the past and the quality and preparation of the food was as good as we remembered. It was a quiet Friday evening with every table being occupied by couples so it was very relaxed and the service was attentive and friendly. For starters we had cold meats and caprese salad, which were both lovely and... More

We have eaten here a couple of times and the food has been consistently fabulous. The steaks just melt when cutting into them. The house wine is excellent and all served by friendly staff. We will be eating here again as we have moved here to live and have tried a lot of the others restaurants in the town but... More

a free glass of wine on arrival from the super friendly waitress was a good start. she recommended a bottle of wine for us which was exquisite and having perused the menu thoroughly she proceeded to offer two steaks that were not on the menu, which, since her wine choice was spot on, we went with the steaks she offered.... Have a creole pie for a starter if you like Cornish pasties, they are minced meat with peppers, however I would say skip the starters and tuck into a juicy sirloin steak they are big. All 6 of us had steaks and the only problem was the chef had slightly underdone 2 that were wanted well done. The waiter was... More

The beef steak was the worst steak I have ever eaten. It was fat and chewy and the fat it has been fried in tasted old and burned. There was no bread and the potatoes came in a homoeopathic dose. We would have gone to sleep hungry if it wasn't for the churros at Neptuno's! The fillet steak my friend... More

Yes the service is slow, but we were on holidays so not rushing anywhere. The Steak is amazing, and they do a buffet lunch that had so much food on it was brilliant value. Going back later on the year and I expect to eat her at least twice. I do not think its expensive for the steak you get,... More
