Went in and asked for drinks with bread and alioli while we looked at menu. Decided we didn’t like the look of anything and felt it was overpriced so asked for the bill, waitress went and got the manager who proceeded to come to our...table and shout at us for not spending more then charged us €25 for 4 bits of bread and 2 soft drinks. After paying bill the waitress refused to give us the €5 change from the €30 we gave her (not a chance was I leaving a tip after that display). Horrible rude staff and would never return would advise against any use of this place yes the setting is lovely but the food looked sub standard and the staff really were horrible.More

The location is stunning but that apart this place is very ordinary in terms of food 🥘 until the bill arrives ! The waiter staff ( we had 4 at our table which makes for a very confused service ) are quick to try and...get you bottles of water ( €15 a pop ) or a small beer at €6 throw in 2 small pieces of bread at €4 and your launches !! The fish dishes are priced up by weight € per kilo which isn’t that helpful to most customers . Our sea bass at €210 per kilo weighed in at over €115 on the bill alone ! Ice cream for one ( they don’t do a portion ) is a whopping €25 so all my advice would be is to swim and stroll the stunning beach and sea before moving swiftly on to one of the many other restaurants giving value for your money :) Good luck !!More

Went here on my last night for an imagined special dinner, knowing the restaurant was high end, and was very disappointed with the quality of the food and thus quite annoyed at the very high price tag. Setting is beautiful, but cocktails at sunset would...have been sufficient. Some prices were higher on the restaurant menu then what they were listed as on the website menu. The lobster salad was basically a plate of plum tomatoes with a few tiny pieces of avocado and 4 bite size pieces of Lobster. The appetizer fried fish crocchette had no flavor at all, and we did not finish them. I asked for fresh fish of the day, and was unapologetically informed that there were only large fish for 2-3 people. Thus I ordered the grilled squid which were tough and came accompanied by a powerful garlic parsley sauce which further made them inedible. My daughter ordered the lobster pasta that was overcooked, had a few stingy pieces of lobster and was drowned in a heavy tomato sauce. What a disaster of a last night out in FormenteraMore

It pains me to say this, given the beautiful setting/ view (which makes you feel like you should just be grateful to be there!) but I was really disappointed with our lunch at this restaurant. The lobster paella, priced at nearly 60 euros per person,...didn’t even feature half a lobster each. There were quite poor pieces of lobster (mainly head!) and no substantial chunks of meat. I had eaten the lobster paella at Beachouse a week before which was FAR superior to this one. The kids’ menu was far too expensive for mediocre pasta. They also asked for a tip when presenting the bill (“the bill does NOT include a tip” we were told, as it was placed on the table) and again when the complimentary boat took us back out to sea. This just didn’t seem professional. Such a shame. I much preferred Juan y Andrea and I also had far better food at Beso Beach in Formentera, which isn’t really known as a foodie option!More

Fabulous location with a wonderful view. It was the best meal of our holiday. The paella was delicious and the lobster salad out of this world. The home made ice cream dessert is recommended too. Very friendly and efficient staff too.

We didn't quite know what to expect as we've never been to Formentera. The weather was quite grey and we were at the beach far less than we wanted so we went for a walk and discovered this place. WOW! We didn't have a reservation,...but we were shown to a table and offered drinks with our menu's. It seems all the staff had their specialties as there was a different person serving for wine and food, etc. We ordered the lobster Paella and was not disappointed! Incredible food and service with fantastic wine to boot. Well recommended if you find yourself this part of Formentera Island.More

The location is the reason to go. Amazing, expansive views. Most tables by the windows were reserved for tables of 4 or more. Most of the items on the menu require 2 people. We felt a little rushed and food came out very quickly. Very...expensive but the view is worth it.More

Me and my boyfriend are staying in Formentera for the week and I decide to took him to Es Moli de Sal because as I went there already once with my family and we had a really good meal. Unfortunately this time I can’t really...say the same, we thought we had a very good lunch a lobster tartar, 4 oyster and a lobster paella but during the night both of us spend the entire night in the bathroom, we think we had food poisoning from the oysters, 250€ to get this ill. I will never go there again.More
