Food was ok, nothing to remember but the smell of mould/damp was overwhelming. Could never go back, very off putting when trying to eat. Although no damp visible, the smell was so so bad.

We stayed one night here on our way to Westport. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the room was clean. We had a late lunch in the restaurant, which was delicious and decided to eat dinner here as well. Unfortunately, the restaurant closed...before 7pm but we were directed to another restaurant nearby, so all was ok. All in all - a lovely, comfortable, well priced B&B with great staff.More

Went in for a hot drink as it was one of the few places open about 5.30 pm. Had a pot of tea and a Guinness! Decided to stay for a meal which was excellent and good value

This is a restaurant which serves good food in a friendly atmosphere. The old world charm of the hotel and bar adds to the experience. High.y recommended

I've eaten at Valkenburg several times and have never been disappointed. Good food and exceptional service. They usually have a good selection of specials and will do their best to prepare food to suit your taste.

Place with special history; because we live near by Valkenburg in Holland, we asked the owner about the name and we got to know the interesting history !
