Carneys is very welcoming. We stopped here for dinner while on our Stay cation. We hadn't booked but they were able to fit us in. The waitress was so friendly and couldn't have done enough for us. My little girl particularly thought she was very...friendly. Meal was delicious and homemade felt just like home. Guinness was also a huge hit as always.More

Carneys is a well established restaurant with something on the menu to suit everyone's taste. The Carney Special cheese and bacon brown bread toastie is a firm favourite in our house. And there's always something tasty on the specials menu too, great steaks, tasty chicken...and fish dishes and vegetarian options also. Service is warm, friendly and welcoming, as is the decor and the atmosphere.More

Very Average, staff friendly, food way overpriced, small portions, nice location, nice interior but overall for what I payed I expected really good food and was very disappointed.

Really good family restaurant. The food is very good and the service is very pleasant (although a little slow when we were there which was understandable as it was very busy and a large group had come in before us)

Went here today for a change after about a year. How things have changed the price has gone way up but I wouldn't mind paying for good food. We got the chowder and at €9 a serving you would think its going to be nice....It was creamy water with about 10 mussels and that's it. So don't get the chowder if you go in there. Really disappointed.More

Excellent friendly service and wholesome food. We had curry and salmon with prawns. My dessert was homemade strawberry cheesecake and was perfect!

I’ve been to Carney’s a good few times now, and they never disappoint! I had Scampi and chips with a side of the beer battered onion rings to share with my partner. It was a good job that we were sharing the onion rings, the...portion was huge! As were the rings themselves and they were proper onions too. If you want great quality pub food, then Carney’s is the place for you.More

This pub and eating house is a very pleasant place to eat in. It has a very attractive interior and the staff members are very friendly. We found the food good but not great. My roast chicken was cooked very dry but the the rest...of our meals were good. The Fish and Chips was excellent.More
