My wife had fish, our daughter had chicken, and I had the lamb (wow!). Everything was delicious. From the starters to the main course to the desserts, I highly recommend the Pyramid!

Andrea & Theresa are the face of this restaurant. Great ambassadors for the Pyramid. Excellent food and service always.
First class experience all round. Quality and presentation of food is second to none. All meals were fantastic. Service is excellent, friendly and always attentive. Could not recommend a visit more.
Andrea went out of her way to help with organizing surprise drinks for a party who were dining in her restaurant. She did all this with a personal touch and the group dining had a wonderful experience. Excellent venue and fantastic service. In these difficult...times for the hospitality trade Pyramid provide a great service with a smile.Thank you.More
We enjoyed lunch at this Restaurant on the road from Galway to Westport, as guests recommended this spot because of good food and low prices. The place was very busy but the staff were efficient and friendly and quickly found us a table. As most...of the starters were deep fried we just had the soup with brown bread. We had roast beef for the mains – large portions served with mashed potatoes and a large selection of fresh vegetables. The prices were quite reasonable for the quality of food. Note - the name Pyramid may derive from the Pyramid of The Neale, which is an architectural folly in the form of a pyramid, built in the area around 1760. The food is always consistent and worth a visit.More
Had a meal there yesterday and the whole experience was excellent. Firstly we were greeted and our contact details taken - we were then show to our table which was at least 2 metres from the next table. Order was taken by a friendly waitress...wearing a visor - the food was top quality, very well presented and really tasty. Portions were generous - and I noticed that when a table nearby was vacated everything on the table was cleaned and the chairs were also sprayed down. Prices were maybe a bit more expensive than other places but it was really good value for what we got. Can't wait to go back.More
A beautiful restaurant with an amazing menu. Our group of six adults and two children had an absolutely lovely time. Everybody in the group commented on the meal and on how good it was. The staff was so friendly and professional. Their adherence to health...and safety guidelines was also excellent. I cannot wait to return to Ballinrobe and eat at this restaurant again. We had a fantastic meal. Thank you so much and well done.More
Meal was excellent with lots of items on the menu , affordable price. Great Irish pub attached, with information about the Quiet Man. Chance to mix with locals.

We were staying at nearby Ashford Castle, and weren't in the mood for fine dining at the hotel, so one of the staff recommended this charming restaurant a short drive away. He told us the chef used to work at Ashford Castle and that the...food was great -- and the food was delicious.More
