Have been to this restaurant several times, and usually it is fair to good, although it seems it's a bit hit and miss. Some of the dishes are authentic and have the spice and fragrance, others are 'really watered down" versions of the real thing....Not much atmosphere, but you would go for the spices rather than the ambiance. They do a brisk takeaway service also.More
Went to Roy's on Saturday with my daughter, her boyfriend, wife and wife. My meal was very tasty. We had complimentary poppadoms to start with. My wife and I then had sheek kebab, which was also very nice. I then had a chicken dhansak for...the main course, which was very succulent and quite tasty. No conplliants whatsoever on my mealMore
Absolutely horrible meal. I eat at Indian restaurants all over Europe and can honestly say this is the worst Indian meal if not the worst meal I have ever had. The peshwari naan had no dessicated coconut and the tap was dangling off the wall...in the toilet which stink of something revolting. The food tasted so strange and was not recognisable to any meal resembling what it was supposed to be. I strongly discourage people who know what Indian food is meant to taste like to run for the hills to another restaurant.More
