We stopped here on our way to Taormina and Mount Etna. This is a great bakery / coffee shop. The cannoli are fantastic (ask for them if they are not on display!!)

Very old fashioned sweets baker - and all the better for it. Great cinnamon choux buns and delicious cannoli. The marzipan carved into fruit is an art in itself. The coffee room is lovely and dignified. Authentically lovely.

If you stay in Santa venerina you need to make this pasticceria your morning stop. We went every morning for freshly made brioche, croissants and bread. The staff were incredibly friendly and they loved my two year son and always gave him sweets because he was a character, which was a lovely touch. Can't wait to go back next year!

We were told this is the best place to go for granite and brioche. We were not disappointed! It is a small and charming pasticceria which makes you feel like you are a part of the culture. So much better than any touristy pasticceria in Taormina! A must visit when in Santa Venerina!

Very friendly pasticceria with a nice choice in typical sicilian dolce, to accompany a really good cuppa coffee. Inside, they have waited tables. Try their Cannoli filled with sweet ricotta cheese, dipped in pistache crumbs.

Fantastic place.....looks really tired and uninteresting from the outside, but once inside you are transferred to another world. I went there for the Canolli (amongst the best I have tried). I ended up trying not only the canolli but also various granita flavours, sweets, coffee and those amazing croissants covered in honey (try one!!!!). Brilliant place, lovely people!

Was privileged to be able to go behind the scenes and watch Maria Nieva Russo hand painting the amazing marzipan candies here but possibly the highlight of the visit was tasting the canolli. I must admit here that it was the first I had ever eaten, but I only had to see it in comparison with others I'd seen to... More
