Delicious Traditional Food

We decided to stop by for dinner attracted by the positive review. I have to say we really enjoyed both food and the warm, cosy wood-made interior decor. Halusky with Bryndza were just so tasty, I would have taken the second plate. The kids enjoyed...an home made beef Hambourger with Mashroom and fries. There ia a small area with toys for the kids to play while waiting for their food. Highly recommendedMore

Nice Traditional Slovak food

If you are passing by Besenova, for sure visit the restaurant as they provide very tasty traditional Slovak food. Prices are moderate.

Great little traditional Slovak restaurant

Our family of 6 decided to try the restaurant based on trip advisor reviews and were glad we did. Food was home cooked traditional fare to burger and wings. Service was quick and friendly. Restaurant even had free WiFi for the kids iPad. Great alternative...to eating every day at the Besenova hotel.More

Traditional Slovak Food

The bryznove halušky were super. Very cozy atmosphere. Quick and friendly service. Very reasonable prices.

Misleading information / Closed??

We have tried to have a dinner on Saturday, they said come back tomorrow, because they have a private event. Sunday we went back and they said they are closed. - Why did they say we can come back? - Were they really closed? —>...We saw people eating there!!!! There was no sign saying they are not open! What happened? Maybe they didnt want to serve us, beacuse we are hungarians? Shame on them we drove miles and didnt get anything but unpolite experience.More

Excellent traditional restaurant

It's a beautiful 'koliba', where, apart from traditional Slovak cuisine, you can also get for example a burger. The service was great and fast. Unfortunately, during time of our visit, the restaurant was reserved for hotel guests only, so we had to stay in outdoor...garden.More

Super. Great food. מעולה!!

אוכל טעיםם ובשפע. שרות מהיר ונהדר. מחיר סביר. מבחר מנות אוטנטיות. Very tasty food and with large porsions. A variaty of Traditional dished. It is the best koliba we ate at!!! Recommended!! The duck dish is super.

Good food, lovely interior

If you are around Besenova, you have to visit this restaurant at least for the lovely interior. The restaurant is furnished in a rustic way. There is a lot of traditional decorations used. They serve traditional Slovak meals and the service is lovely.

Fantastic pension.

Fantastic pension. Excellent service and slovak kitchen. Very attentive owners. Everything was super, we will return again.
