The village is worth your visit. The house where the restaurant is is very old and beautifully maintained. The interior is typical German/Bavarian. The choice of wines is wide as many houses from the direct surroundings are present. One can taste all varieties of the local Frankisch wines. We chose the cute Weinstube and tried a variety of delicious wines. Our group of 5 ordered a variety of "snacks" - the platter with various meats and cheeses as well as the Flammkuchen ( a type of thin crusty pizza shaped bread with toppings to choose). Don't miss the Bratwurst in the croissant - we were addicted instantly.

Four of us had a Sunday Lunch at the crowded Ehrbar Fränkische Weinstube. Duck and Schnitzel are among the specialties. My wife had the boneless 1/4 duck and I the two schnitzels 'Wiener Art. The other couple had a Zander and a Mixed Grill. We also shared tastes of two different soups. Each dish was outstanding. My two schnitzels were... More
