In February, my family arrived to Madeira and we rented a car to go around the island. We wanted to drink a coffee and eat a cake. We stopped here and sit outside, watching the views. When we were waiting to make an order, couple next to us revived a bill and was studying it long time. After that the... More

This restaurant was on our way up to Porto Moniz. We stopped for coffee and snacks and could not help but admire the views ... just beautiful. The only thing weird we notice is that there was no bill. The lady just told us how much it was and got the cash. Coffee was twice the price we paid before... More

When we arrived here in the evening quite a few of the dishes on the menu were unavailable, even though the place was empty. We had the scabbard fish fillet and the tuna steak. The food was simple but nice. It's worth a visit for the views more than the food.

Beautiful view from this restaurant in the middle of the road. Tasty dishes. Nice service. It's worth it to step by in your journey discovering this coast.

Found this by accident; looked hard to find it a second time. The road you approach on from the east is worth the trip by itself. The view, both on the road and from the restaurant, is astounding; the weather changes while you sit there on the edge of beyond, and both the service and the price quality are really... More

This is located at one of the most astounding viewpoints you'll ever see.. a vertical drop to the coast and Paul do Mar with incredibly windy road all the way down from here. Average snack bar, awkward parking.

Wanted to watch the sunset after a day of exploring the island , great views but unfortunately that was the only good part about the place. Food terrible, not cooked well at all (luckily we only had snacks as early evening) Wanted to relax only to have to listen to the family arguing and shouting throughout our meal .. Ended... More

Simple but good little snack bar, visited here whilst staying in Paul do Mer. Road up is a treat, you can walk but you better be fit. Driving to it another time via Faja da Ovelha caused my wife mild hysteria as the roads down are so steep to the west of the village. Usual fare.
