Tried almost all the Chinese restaurant in cairns, Xanadu is definitely the best! Yummy dishes and friendly staff. Finally we have a nice place to enjoy real Chinese food!

We've been on a trip for 10 days and this is the best and the most authentic Chinese restaurant we've had. The price is inexpensive and definitely worth it. The staff is really friendly too.

Realxing and quiet dining. Friendly staff. Extremely fast service. But the best part was the food. We had various dim sim for lunch with homemade ice creams for dessert. The vegetarian dish we tried was kind of ho-hum but the rest was very flavourful and as authentic cantonese as I have tasted. And the combo meal was really excellent value.... More

We are Cairns foodie locals. Xanadu is one of our very best and consistent restaurants we regularly visit. BYO which is great. Ben(owner/chef) is exceptional. Always has a grin which easily turns to a smile which easily turns to laughter!! His food is truly great. He takes great pride in his customer service attitude. Not to be missed. Foster Lee

Random visit on a Thursday night, 5 of us, find for the food itself - it is over priced greatly, although to be fair - you do get quite large portions. most of the meals were enjoyed although some were not. The Quail and the Shiitake Mushrooms with Green Asian Veges were the best contenders, however waiting ages for the... More

Over 30 people enjoyed the delights of Xanadu, 'Ben' the owner spoiled us on our 60th birthday celebration. Between the duck breast with mushrooms and the whole fish nothing was left. Great food, great service and a wonderful evening.

Lovely staff and fantastic service. The food was some of the best Chinese I have ever eaten. Wasn't overly priced you get what you pay for. Definitely one of Cairn's best kept secrets. This restaurant is a must for all you foodies. Had a great time!

For a simple family business this place is definitely going to be our one stop shop for Chinese/Cantonese food. They are happy to adjust the menu to suit your individual taste and I don't think anyone would be disappointed. Fresh and delectable, all courses we had were fantastic. The restaurant itself is nothing flash but clean and tidy. The staff... More

Tucked away at the end of the street nearly bordering on the botanic gardens in trendy Edge Hill is this unassuming little restaurant that has surprisingly good Chinese! Great value too!
