Good authentic Puerto Rican fare and live music on weekends with plenty of parking, moderate pricing

For many years chef Tio Pepe and his wife Wanda has been serving good food, wine, entries, live music in a very familiar environment. One of the best in the south central of the Island.

I have been coming here with my family for some years and the place remains consistently good. The menu showcases the local poultry raised in the area. Two years ago they added a small guest house with very nice rooms.

Food is good went there from a recommendation from a friend, I would say they over sold it to me. I would return if its not full it tends to slow down.

Tio Pepe used to be one of the flagship places at this area. Remains ok, average but not to get over excited. Do not get me wrong, it still a decent place to be, we had a good time do not mind to be back but it didn't make a last overwhelming impression in me.

Visited the restaurant on a Christmas Saturday. The decor, atmosphere plus the season weather made our experience a memorable one. Food was good, well presented and on the fair side on price. Servers were very hospitable. On the poor side I most mention that the restrooms need a better layout nevertheless they were cleaned.

I visited on Sunday because Asador Isla Bonita was closed. Service was so warmth even in the parking. The food was good and very well priced. The only bad thing was they didn't have natural fruit juice, not even orange!

The food was average. I went on a Saturday and it was not very busy so service was good. The bar area is not tidy up, there was even a bucket and mop right next to entertaining area. Very old and kind of old fashion pink curtains on the windows.

The place is old and ugly. And the food is the worst we ever had. Is too bad, because we read good reviews in Trip Advisor and in other sites. It could be that the restaurant have a better time in past. Nowdays I do not recomended it.
