Lovely place. Don't be put off by the Irish connection, I.e. The Irish bar in every town in Europe, this us a lovely restaurant run by warm and friendly people and certainly not a pub. Lovely.

We were lucky the first dinner we had here, and got the last available table. Next time we booked a table in advance.... And yes, this restaurant is so nice, and the food so good, that you really want to go there again and again. In fact we also had breakfast here and a "small lunch" (beer, wine and the... More

After having visited 8 of the 10 top rated restaurants and more in Puerto de Mogan over the last four weeks one must wonder why The Irish Tavern is not higher rated. They have an excellent service given not least by the owners, they have a fantastic Leg of Lambs for dinner in the evening, they have an excellent breakfast... More

Treated ourselves to an Irish breakfast on our first morning after reading good reviews. We were not disappointed-it was excellent. We intended to visit again for dinner as the menu looked good but when went a few days later they were full so we should have booked.

One of the more popular places by the harbour in Puerto Mogan. Nice views of all the boats directly from the restaurant. Super attentive service. I had decided on fish beforehand, and ended up with the tuna, which the waiter confirmed was fresh. Perfectly cooked - slightly less done in the middle of the fillet. Nice dessert, coffe and brandy... More

We always make sure to visit The Irish Tavern when in Gran Canaria. Sometimes on holidays, it's nice to eat what you're used to back home. We had the Irish breakfast of course and a mug of tea. And you can't pass up the desserts. Service is always good and Sandy is a lovely lady. Well done - we've had... More

This restaurant is just fabulous. The food was great - we had fish & chips, steak and a burger. The desserts are all homemade so of course we had to taste those too!! The only regret is that we didn't have enough time to come back and try more items off the menu. It will be the first place we... More
