It's a quaint little place indeed, down an alley and an archway, with a couple rooms and many tables, busy to a surprising degree, with hindsight at least. The outside view of the river is nice, if only available when it's warm enough to eat outside. Walls are all covered with flattering remarks from travelers. They must have had better... More

We discovered this place after trying a few other places first. Everywhere was busy but we did manage to get a table outside the front all to ourselves as we had a dog with us. We were not given any menus and just agreed to eat everything the waitress offered us in her fluent italian. We were not disappointed. We... More

From the moment we walked into this quaint little trattoria we were in for a wonderful time. We were greeted and helped to a table. We were lucky to secure a table on the balcony area which overlooked the mountains and river. The waiter helped us to choose by answering (with patience) all our questions about the menu. We choose... More

Ordered a pasta and a drink, paid at the bar - no bill, and it was only as we left we realised how much we had paid. Went back to complain but had no luck. Spoken menu so no idea of the prices before hand. Talked to locals and they pay much less there!!!

we went to this restaurant when we were i pontremoli in july 15 it was ok, food was nice enough but the menu is very sparce , decent value for money, but this is not the best restaurant in the town, its a little difficult to find near the market square.also the menu is only in italian.

During a very hot midday we enjoyed a super simple pasta Bolognese. Service was very good. We ate on the little terrace overlooking the river.

We were seated outside over looking the river. The waitress recommended the house special antipasto. First we had a variety of meats, a mild cheese and a vegetable torta. Then we were served chestnut fritters with fresh ricotta. These were definitely the highlight of the antipasto. The final antipasto portion was fried squash blossoms, good but not exceptional. Three primi... More

Nice place to eat. Strangely offered a menu but then gave us strangely a list of only 5 regional dishes to choose from. But the were pretty good (Gnocchi, testaroli, penne with a rabbit ragu). It was a sunny day and the restaurant sits next to the river. So it was a shame awe had to sit indoors, which is... More
