Disappointing meal, as part of a large group. Poor customer service, mediocre food. I expected more from them, given that we were a pre-booked group and we had pre-ordered our food. We had to wait an hour and a half for starters to arrive, and...More

Part of a group booking to celebrate a birthday. The seating was disastrous; I was penned in to a corner with a small child for whom there was no provision. Long wait for food even though it was pre-booked. Halloumi salad with cherry tomatoes, broccoli and...More

We’ve been to The Hog a few times - light lunches, more filling lunches, evening meals and now a Sunday Roast. I think to rate a country pub as 5*, you need to have covered off a variety of eating occasions like this to gauge...More
