I visited this place along with a friend for Lunch to try Naga food in November 2017. We ordered a Veg Naga Thali along with Pork Anishi and Chicken Bambooshoot curries. The Veg naga Thali consisted of naga dal, rusup [ a naga curry made...with mixed vegetables], plain boiled rice, chutney and boiled vegetables and I found it nice. The Pork Anishi is pork cooked with fermented yam paste and I did not try it but my friend loved it. I liked the Chicken with bambooshoots curry as it was highly flavorful and spicy.More

Ethnic Table serves the best Naga Food in the Planet i have been there almost 3-4 times already with my friends and guest. Everytime i went i felt like this is it!! But more i came more my apatite of eating increased! Ketti is wonderful...host and thats the bonus. Wonderful Food Wonderful People and results all Laugh and Enjoyment! Nice place with ethnic decor. Good authentic Naga food. A little difficult to locate but it's a 'must try'.

Its a good place to have some authentic Naga food. The staff is good and the food is nice too. The ambience is fun and basic and thats all that we expect of the place

Stopped over here for lunch. Great Food. Nice Service. Though it is a la carte but the choice is from the fairly limited daily menu, but I would not consider that a downside. The Pork Ribs were excellent. Nice Interiors, Clean Washrooms, Reasonably Priced.

A meal of the highest quality, with all the originality, distinction and sophistication of Naga cuisine at a very reasonable price in served in a warm and friendly environment, The winner of the first Naga Chef competition in 2013, amateur chef turned restauranter Aketoli Zhimomi's...Ethnic Table is a treasure and should easily stand out as one of the best places to eat original Naga food in Dimapur. I am astonished it has not featured on the Trip Advisor listing and could easily be one of the highlights of Dimapur's Things To Do in itself. The daily menu is different every day we were told, and responds to the seasons. It is written up on a whiteboard and on the day we visited, we found all the staples waiting: smoked pork and fish with axone (fermented soya bean)/ anishi (fermented yam leaves), chicken and bamboo shoot, akibiye (yam and mustard leaves), pork ribs, a version of Naga dal and the fabulous black rice which when cooked with white grains looks closer to purple. At the dead heart of the meal sits the bhut jolokia (phantom/ ghost chilli) chutney. (The chilli is also called the Raja Mircha and at one point the hottest chilli in the world.) Depends on when you go, you could also find, we were told, the freaky foods - snails, silk worms, grasshoppers, wood worms, etcetc. All this inside an unpreposessing frontage hiding a stylish interior designed by Dimapur local John Patton whose charcoal works hang on the walls. Only repeating myself, but amazing this two-year-old restaurant has not featured here before. Ethnic Table is a gem.More
