I remember this restaurant to be one of its kind in the South Bohemia. It has not changed since that time (10 years ago?) concerning menu, interior, prices and also popularity. You always need a reservation on weekend evening. The food is delicious and served...in a indian style. Everything is little spicy. Very good service and location in old street. One thing I would change is the music - Czech popular band does not fit in here. And I still did not get the closing hours 3-5.30 pm.More
Found the whilst exploring the streets. The last thing I was expecting was a Nepalese eating house. Booked a table at lunchtime as this place gets really busy. The service was extremely good and the food was great in terms of quantity and quality. Authentic...cuisine served in a cosy and ambient atmosphere. The establishment was extremely busy and that was a Monday lunchtime so wise o book to avoid disappointment. By the way as a real bonus this was real value for money.More
We were in Prachatice only for 2 days and had through reviews identified Tandoor as a restaurant, we had to visit. Our expectations were high, but they were fully met. The restaurant itself i quite small but very cozy, the staff is encredibly welcoming and...the food is super delicious. However, prices are almost unbelievably low, and we can only give the place the warmest recommendations. We certainly hope to repeat the visit.More
We went to eat there with a local friend one day before the New Year's Eve. The day before we order a took out - cheese, potatoes cakes. The restaurant is small and super busy. We were close to the "bar" and the phone would...not stop ringing and people were coming in and out picking up take outs and checking if some table is free. It was the holidays, so I cannot judge on how it is on a week day. The staff - young siblings, kids of the owner, were very nice, but due to the business not 100% observant regarding the drinks. But the food came fast, careful a big portions! But they wrapped it for us to take home. My husband had one of the spicy food and it was pretty hot, but doable with lassi! We really enjoy the mango lassi, though a bit sweet. Overall a wonderful experience considering the size of the town. The chefs are from Nepal!More
The best indian food I have ever eaten! The place is not very fancy and there is not a lot of space, so it's better to make a reservation (on Friday nights it's necessary.) However the food is delicious! Staff is very friendly.
