The menu lists Czech and European cuisine. Good meals. Good beer. Good service. Interesting rooms at ground and cellar level. Worth noting is their Svickova, served with Karlovy Vary dumplings (not bland white ones), and their Kulajda Soup (with the right amount of vinegar). Perfect...for lunch and/or dinner.More

The food is typically local and very tasty, the service was efficient, polite and prompt. There are no negative points to stress. One curiosity deserves to be pointed out: as in any restaurant, you can ask for a mix of dark and light beer, simply...as for "rezane pivo" (cut beer). It is tasty and introduces a nice change to the classical light (svetle) or dark (cerne). In this restaurant it is served separating the dark and light phases, see photo. Amazing and well done!More

The food in this restaurant is delicious. We had the Svickova and a hamburger (I tried to order the goulash but they ran out). We also ordered soup and that's where the problems began. We waited 45 minutes for soup and it was brought only...after we complained that a table that arrived 20 minutes after we did had already received and eaten their soup. Then we had to wait another 30 minutes for the next part of the meal. All of this food was chosen from the "ready" menu which means it should basically be ready to serve as soon as it's orderd. When we asked about the food, we were met with a hostile reaction. The waitress asked "What, do you want to cancel your order?" A couple at the table next to us had also ordered the soup but after waiting 30 minutes, they just put some money on their table for the beers they drank and left. They couldn't even tell the waitress they were leaving because no one came around to check on us.More

Shocking service, providing a history lesson into what communism must of been like. Ignored and made to wait 30mins before evening speaking to the waitress. When she finally came we were told there was only one meal on the menu. We decided to leave and...go to a much better restaurant within the square. Please avoid.More

This restaurant has now new owners proposing their own beer from the brewery next-door. The food was really good, at half price compared to Prague (clearly bellow 10€ / pers.). The choice of food is large with accent on typical regional specialities. The service is...rapid, efficient, with nice smile. This is for sure an ideal place to eat and drink the local beer after a nice walk in the surrounding forests.More

The restaurant offers a large choice of Czech specialities, maybe not as large as one can find in Prague "tourists restaurants" but it is fine. Luckily, the menu shows other than the typical Czech cuisine meals and it is refreshing ! Having selected a local...preparation with two sorts of dumplings, the typical and simple potatoes dumplings were largely below expectation. Probably too dry and just reheated, the crust was very hard. This portion should have never been served. The rest was fine.More
